December 20, 20241 yr I'm trying to find a replacement lock for a small safe. It's a cam lock with tubular key, 16mm mount with 20mm depth and a cranked lever, the lock passing through 90 degrees only. I have found many with a straight lever but with a different size fixing so I cannot swap the levers from old to new. Does anyone know a shop that would hold these in stock (presumably an old style) in central Phuket? TIA
December 21, 20241 yr Probably a waste of your time but I've had a few of these sitting in my drawer for over thirty years! Made in the USA hence primarily Imperial dimensions - the cylinder diameter is 3/4" (18mm) and 5/8" (15mm) across the flats. The length is 1" (25mm) and so it looks like it's a size up from what you have. The key has a 180-degree action. The mounting slot in the lever is approximately 7x6mm. I'm in the UK but will be on Phuket in three weeks.
December 22, 20241 yr Author Thanks for the thought. Everything except the depth would be ok. Even the 180 turn can be changed to 90 by using the old limiter collar.
