I reckon "working girl" from Poland or Bulgaria married Qiwi dude some 20 years ago. A bit later she found that he was not a knight in shining armors and she must also work, not just sit at home and chat with her friends. 

So she divorced him and flew back to BKK to continue her carrier as a "working girl" at Novotel Siam Square. 

Later she became a teacher in int. school as she was a "native speaker" with NZ passport.

Assuming you want to be a TEFL teacher, teaching English to adults of mixed nationalities, just doing a CELTA (or equivalent) is sufficient.  There are plenty of TEFL jobs all over the world.  But don't expect to earn much.

Realistically you need some sort of degree from your home country. You need the TEFL course. You will need the right visa and other documentation. No criminal record. You will have  to start at the bottom and work up if no teaching experience.

It's hard work and not easy for someone at pensionable age. It's not exciting and you're always carrying a cold. I found it tough trying to get through to 32, 5 and 6 year Olds of varying standards.

Good luck if you are serious. You need to be.

You need a degree. The degree can be in any subject. The reason why there are very few foreign English teachers in the Philippines is that they already have their own English teachers. The majority of English teachers in Thailand are Filipino. There are also a lot of Filipino English teachers in Vietnam.

OK, you are really fantasizing.

You usually need to have an advanced degree to teach at uni.

I'm guessing you don't have a BA or BS since you haven't stated.
