Would be nice if People's Party would get some local PAO wins to bolster their support!

Not sure why Pita isn't campaigning since Thaksin does for Pheu Thai Party ....

Pita was on the stumps for the People's Party up in Udon Thani for the recent PAO election. Despite being the Udon Thani winners in the general election less than 18 months earlier, they're popularity was easily eclipsed by Pheu Thai.

The next round of PAO elections are in a little over one month away and Pheu Thai still has the momentum

One is subject to a ban on political activity and the other is not.

The courts are preparing as we write.

Don't laugh, could well be true.

Seems to me the people will eventually tire of the current games and take whatever action is needed to respect the choice of the people.

But unfortunately if will  probably be a while yet before the green suits can't trick the people any more.

Thaksin is not a member of Phu Thai.

Legally they are prohibited  from receiving donations and assistance from non members. Thaksins politcal activity is illegal

Unfortunatly since thr banning of the charismatic leader Peta the Peoples party have taken a low profile.

Thaksin's ego never allows him to miss a publicity opportunity. However the people will remember his lies and deceit to escape justice and resent his illegal politcal inteference.

People Party is very active all over the country. They are actively campaigning in both Udon and Ubon for PAO races. Not winning but getting a lot more votes than ever before. Not only every province, but also every amphur, and even tambon they have people in. Here is way out in Ubon at my friends house. A PP home.

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has the full legal right to assist in Pheu Thai Party's activities. Thaksin received a royal pardon and was paroled. He is now a free man.  He is not receiving donations.  Pita has an absolute 10 year ban on politics.

What part of this do you not understand? This has been discussed in mutiple Thai English language  media outlets.

nothing will change, people's will doesn't matter,  after all the theatrical mise en scene they went thru to get him here and his daughter "installed as PM" , nobody should expect the Shinawatra gang to give up power
