Finding a tradesman for condo renovation

Featured Replies

Does anybody have experience of where to find a tradesman for condo repairs / redecoration and renovation in Bangkok?

It seems the market is very fragmented and mostly independent Thai guys or large companies that only take on big projects.

I'm looking for basic things like new kitchen, new bathroom and redecoration. Not a full-on renovation from the empty shell.

Can someone who has experience of this advise? Is it better to use one company that can do all of the tasks or find individual tradesmen for each speciality?

Ads   You’re right, the market can feel quite fragmented in Bangkok, especially when you’re looking for mid-sized projects like a kitchen or bathroom upgrade. If you prefer a hassle-free experience without coordinating multiple tradesmen, you might want to consider a service like Reproperty. They work with trusted contractors, so you can get everything done through a single point of contact. Might be worth checking them out if you’re looking to streamline the process! Ads

This may or may not help, but I noticed that if you look around Home Pro, Thaiwatsadu, Boonthavarn, etc., and find, say for example, a kitchen design you like, floor tiles you want, etc., they have their own contractors that will come and install it for you. However, this means a box fit and no custom features. You would need to know exactly what you want from what is in the show room.
