Thai AirAsia has once again claimed the top spot as Thailand's most punctual airline, while also securing an impressive fifth place in Cirium’s esteemed list of the top 10 on-time airlines within the Asia-Pacific region. Achieving a punctuality rate of 77.46%, it distinguishes itself as the sole Thai airline in these rankings.

 

CEO Santisuk Klongchaiya attributes this success to the airline’s dedication to operational precision. He emphasised that throughout 2024, Thai AirAsia has prioritised timeliness to foster confidence and reliability for its passengers.

 

 

Cirium, renowned for its aviation analytics, monitors approximately 3 million flights each month, making its punctuality rankings a key performance benchmark across the globe. These rankings not only influence airlines but also impact tourism and financial sectors internationally.

 

Thai AirAsia’s dedication to timeliness not only boosts its reputation as a punctuality leader but also reaffirms its commitment to efficient passenger service. Last year, the airline launched a local campaign, “Thank You for Being on Time”, celebrating punctuality among its passengers through creative video spots, further highlighting its focus on reliability.

That's supposed to be impressive ?

Well, personally, I rather have a short delay than the risk of frequent flight cancellations with no compensation. (Used to fly often with AirAsia years ago. Not any more...)

Air Asia i had never delays (more than 20 min)..happy with them,except the webpage now(never us it  moresince the change) , over 50 flights.I resume only budgetairlines

punctual are as well i fly over 20 times with them Vietjet,Tiger,indigo,

worst with ever delays Pegasus

 

Their planes might be leaving on time now days.

But their airfare refund(for flight cancellation by their own accord) takes ages.

It happened to me in 2020. 

And took me 4 years till I get my money back; looks like they were waiting for the FX rate move strongly to the favor of THB.
