They only need to be chained up when they are out of control..

Sorry to break it to you, but when they are out of control, it´s always too late.

If this dog was permanently chained it could not have attacked the owner. Something not right about this. To your point, no dog, of whatever breed, should be chained all its' life. Cruel beyond belief.

Yeah, in my opinion it´s better to shoot it directly.

That kind of explains it all.

Or this: He also suggested that the dog might have been stressed, as it had been chained for an extended period.

I can't see much Pitbull in there either, if any. Not that that will help it now.

A Poodle would not have been strong enough to chew its owner to death....

The Pit-bull part definitely explains it...   Not that I have any sympathy for the owner at all, I'm just glad this wasn't an innocent visitor or child who was mauled to death.

Looked at the lot. Maybe a slightly broad head but really a broad Thai mix of lots of things.

Here's an adorable Pitbull. See what I mean?

Sorry to break it to you, mostly it's too late when they are out of control or off the chain..

except in this case the owner was within range.

But hey, he got what he deserved

And fed adequate poison, gotta be cruel to be kind.

I volunteer to castrate it using vice, before poisoning.
