No Japanese places at Patpong, but there are a bunch of them around the Thaniya Plaza area on Thaniya Rd.

Yes, the soi you are referring to is called Thaniya. It's between Silom 2 and Silom 4 and is a short walk from Patpong. It is quite a nice little street, much nicer and cleaner than PP.

I've been there and it's just full of absolute beauties. I only went there the one time. When I found out that the that they like a dog-burger, it had a negative effect on me. Imagine cosying up to a lovely bit of fluff and thinking she's just ate her dog. Bit of a turn off.

It's not just superficial beauty either, where the farm girls come out on top. Just watching a young girl coaxing a big buffalo to go left, when the beast wants to go right, is simply breathtaking. There are attuned to nature, and although some are partial to a dog dinner, we must keep in mind, that everything returns to mother earth eventually.
