Coarse or not, they ask you what you would like on your sandwich and many things are NOT extra charge.

so one should say I'd like what's included as the normal sandwich cost of 140 baht thanks ... or whatever.

not just say ' I'll have this, and this, and this , ........    one needs to ask and get confirmation of the cost before agreeing.

correct  ?

For three sandwiches and topping.... Jeeeeeeeez

For three foot-longs, with (what most people might consider) excessive extras, cookies and drinks.

How did they "rob" her by charging for exactly what she ordered?

As you know being a Brit it's an expression, used when items seem to be overly priced, it's just an expression, so no need to be pedantic.

There was no pedanticism in my comment.   As for yours, there's no need to post inaccurate nonsense.

They always tell you the price and You pay first.  what is subways problem. Stupid phuket. Good for her TikTok. And then subway makes a scene.

That must just be an airport Subway policy that you describe, I have never been given the cost, and been asked to pay first, in any Subway shop.

Last time I bought a breakfast sandwich at Subway in Swampy, it cost more than the 2 pairs of Levi's Dockers I had bought in town.  But it was about the same price as breakfast at Burger King or McD's on the same departure concourse.

$72 for 3 meals that the airport?  Sounds about right.

Read again , she said 72 quid = $95.77 = Bht 3218.

I don't remember if I've ever had any airport food in Thailand.  However, from my experience in airports generally, paying what might seem like a higher price goes with the territory.

I think you're incorrect they punch everything in the till and you pay

EVERY time I order Subway, the process is as follows

- I choose my sandwich

- they make it in front of me

- they tell me the price

- I pay

Thailand wouldn't know what a foot long is even if they tripped over it.

They are probably used to tourists just bending over and taking it raw, rather than complaining and pointing out it is a rip-off (which it is).

Don't give me the high rents excuse, the airport was built with taxpayer's money and the AOT is 70% government owned.

A good comparison would be with the airport in KL, Malaysia, where prices of food vendors are much in line with those in the city centre.

Food prices at Thai airports are a rip-off, end of.

'Kin 'ell, must be true if you finish your diatribe with "end of".

the rents are no excuse as I mentioned before

You may find the rents no excuse, but they are. They're high, as simple as that.
