I think they like their religion and culture, but they're very much aware that the UK is a better place to be. Probably a mixture of economics and culture, while still wishing to live within their culture in a bubble form.
First congratulations on taking a very, very long-sighted view. That's very wise and laudable.
Right now I have no issue to go to Pattaya once a year. If in 40 years I do find it a struggle, I'd still do it. What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger. Thailand at any cost.
Correct. It seems to be beyond the comprehension of many members that the point of tariffs, beyond punishing the country involved, is to change supply chains. Thailand's loss could be a domestic agricultural boost for US farmers, or more likely a boost for other rice growing nations exports.
The only time it becomes a major problem for consumers is when the product cannot be sourced elsewhere.
