Rayan air demands less alchohol on Airports. And I had some experiences of complete idiots drinking to much and making parts of the flights just miserable, and for me, I could not care less I they stopped serving alchohol at airports or in flight. Good idea.

In fact I did fly with Aeroflot who did not serve alchohol, and it was great.

Ryanair Holdings Plc pressed European authorities to limit the sale of alcohol at airports, renewing its call for a crackdown after a spate of costly passenger disruptions.

The Irish low-cost carrier said it backs a two-drink maximum at airports, citing an April 2024 incident that ended up costing Ryanair more than €15,000 ($15,301).

I was once on a flight with some Russians who did their best to finish a bottle of Vodka, probably bought in duty-free, on the one-hour flight. I was happy when the flight was over.

I guess it would be best if all passengers would have to pay relative expensive prices for alcoholic drinks. Drinks for free is definitely a problem with some idiots.

As usual, a few morons about to spoil it for everyone!  I like a couple of drinks when flying but the worst I ever get is sleepy!

I'd prefer not to be deprived of those but it wouldn't actually worry me if i couldn't.

Of course, you could always fly Saudia - no alcohol, prayers at take-off, and if you're really lucky seated next to someone who preaches their religion at you!  Luckily I was only flying from Cairo to Jeddah.

Voted for restrictions…..but I would be happy for no restrictions, if there were severe penalties for morons who kick off…..life time bans, huge fines and prison.

There is no need for 'blanket' sweeping and generalised rules because of an extreme minority of idiots.

That said, I really couldn't care less if I have a beer or a glass of wine on a flight...

... Its nice if I feel like it, but often I've gone without...

But, I'd like the 'option' to have a beer or wine available to me if I felt like it.. and I don't like the idea that my 'enjoyment' or 'relaxation' might be impacted because someone has put a sweeping rule in place because idiots cannot be effectively policed.

Thus: I'd be up for more serious consequences levied against those found behaving poorly - i.e. travel Bans etc.

Make the consequences of antisocial behavior severe enough to make idiots think twice.

I was recently on a flight to back from the Middle East...  A couple of sweaties absolutely steaming...

..  They were making a minor nuisance of themselves, not because the were getting loud or aggressive - but because they could hardly stand up straight...

.. The concern always is what 'could' happen when someone is so 'out of it' because some people can't turn when heavily inherited, some more readily than others so an element of unpredictability enters the fray...

.. nothing to worry about, these guys were fast asleep before the the seatbelt lights were turned off...  (they looked like they were coming back from a month on a rig).
