ADVICE Please...60-day FREE visa at don mueang / suvarnabhumi airport?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm here on a Non-O marriage 90 day visa, usually I go and get a 60 day extension, however on this trip I want to travel to Vietnam for a few days...

Save me trawling through the "60-day visa exemptions" threads. I have a simple question...

My question is:

On my return from Vietnam and arrival at either don mueang airport / suvarnabhumi airport - would they grant me a 60-day visa exemption?

info:

I have a valid ticket to return back to the UK.

I have NO free thai visa stamps in my 5 year passport, (all stamps are Non-O + 60 day extensions)

I ONLY stay in the kingdom 5 months per year.

Reason i ask is i read somewhere that BKK airport can be a bit difficult for this "60-day visa exemptions"

Must say I find it totally bizarre that now it's possible to do unlimited land-border runs!!!

Thanks in advance for any help / info.:jap:

Yes.

Be aware that airline at departure in Vietnam most likely want to see onward flight within 60 days.

That relates back to 2019. You will be fine.

That is a work in progress. Dismiss the colorful term "unlimited".

Also many border crossing now insisting on 1-2 overnight stay and other requirements.

Even it seems easy crossing Nong Khai.
