It's crystal clear to me that by referring to DEI as "bad rubbish," the original poster was denigrating DEI's attempts to reduce the underlying racist, sexist, and other vestiges of prejudicial approaches to hiring. Anyone who does that, in my opinion, is displaying those same anti-social tendencies.
He’s one of the people where maybe less exposure is better. The more videos I watch of him, the more I’m convinced I wouldn’t hire him to draft a letter.
Not just on this issue, but even on unrelated videos as well, he often comes across more like some guy in a bar than a lawyer.
One thing about the truth is it serves as a one way valve. Once you've recognized it, you can't go back. Which is why support for Trump is monotonically increasing. So by all means, take your time. The truth isn't going anywhere. It'll still be here when you're ready to see it.
In the mean time, just know the craziness we've all seen over the past years is going to be ramped up to even more ludicrous levels, until the underlying reality becomes obvious to almost everyone.
And as for whether or not democracy has failed, Kings aren't necessary and Trump isn't destroying democracy. He is, however, exposing that we've never actually had it in our lifetimes.
