Russia’s economy is doomed
This is a forum for opinions in general, not the historical society, and we have been straying far from the OP already. You conveniently did not mention the Russian/German Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact meant to prevent Hitler from attacking Russia. Seriously? Just how far do you want me to get into it when I've barely scratched the surface. I.m not trying to write a thesis on the war in Russia/ Ukraine. I'm beginning to smell one of those baiting attacks trying to make me say something I shouldn't. I've had a few of them in my time on here. -

Trump Moves Forward with Tariffs on Canada and Mexico, Citing Trade Deficit and Border Issue
This is all subterfuge. Trump needs to show income so he can justify making the tax cuts for the billionaire class permanent. The MAGA rubes that voted for him will, of course, get screwed. Trumpflation, then Trumpcession, then Trumpression, maybe even the Great Trumpression. It only took him 18 months to destroy Obama's longest period of economic expansion in US history. Obviously even less to destroy the good economy he inherited this time. Trudeau's retaliatory tarrifs will be announced shortly. -

Ukraine-Russia war latest: Norwegian diplomats 'in epicentre'Putin missile strike on Odessa
Norwegian diplomats caught up 'in the epicentre of the strike' on historic hotel, says Zelensky At least seven people have been injured after Russia launched a missile attack on the historic centre of Ukraine’s Black Sea port city Odesa, seriously damaging the Unesco World Heritage Site. President Volodymyr Zelensky said Norwegian diplomats had been among those "who were in the epicentre of the strike" and that the attack underscored the need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defences. Vladimir Putin's forces had aimed the attack "directly on the city, on ordinary civilian buildings”, he said. Meanwhile, US president Donald Trump said that his administration was in a “very serious” discussion with Russia about the Ukraine war and suggested he and Mr Putin could take “significant” action towards ending it soon. "We will be speaking, and I think will perhaps do something that'll be significant,” he said. However, when asked if he spoke directly with his Russian counterpart, Mr Trump said: "I don't want to say that." Earlier, Ukraine’s military said it had destroyed a Russian command post in the border region of Kursk. Full story -

Col(u)mbia sends its presidential planecollect worthless illegals after being spanked.
Which a Harris administration never would have done. They would have just opened the boarder wider. You seem to be attempting to claim the moral high ground by misrepresenting what I said. What have I said that is dehumanizing and degrading? -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
To be honest I never thought about that but your probably right. I just thought it was a good video especially calming folks against what he terms tax pimps who should not even be allowed to work in Thailand & probably don't "legally" From the start it was these types fanning the fear mongering flames before anything official is even released -

Will DOGE Be Effective In Cutting Wasteful Spending?
Is that the medicine which cures the problem that the richest three Americans have more money than 50% of Americans? Will Musk work on that? Or will he try to and probably succeed in making that worse?
