Not sure what point, if any, you are trying to make; individual members of a population do not sign the Paris Accord, the country in which they live signs.

So the per capita numbers do nothing to alter the fact that China is responsible for almost a third of the CO2 emissions of the 195 countries of the world.

It is not the fault of the rest of the world that China has a population of 1.4 billion, which nicely massage the per capita numbers.

The phrase, ostensibly referring to language or action that is designed to avoid offence or harm to protected groups, has become a sharp criticism. It is synonymous with a sort of cultural McCarthyism, usually committed by the left.

When I worked in San Francisco there was a brilliant coworker in R&D probably had a PhD and experience working at startups that referred to himself as "they/them".

I thought he was joking until I went to a famous cheap-but-not-so-good local pizza place in Berkeley that had the same sign about calling their employees they/them until you know their gender.

First of all, this makes no sense. They them refers to multiple people, not a single person.

I don't care what someone does in their spare time but it seems like if you think you're multiple people then you're suffering from a mental disorder, not me.

So yeah.

As much as Bubba and Lorleen like to get drunk and see a brunch drag show every time they drive down to Nashville from Possum Holler, Kentucky putting such an emphasis on "bending over backwards" for less than 1% of the population doesn't make sense politically.

PC is used as a slur by little kids who don't know what the word means, just what they heard on the playground.

Politically correct = Polite, respectful, Christian

Woke = Not asleep, not deceased

That mean old Bogan kid from Australia been spreading his lies on playgrounds all over the world.

Go ahead and believe that being polite and respectful to others that are different than you and alive and awake is....

"Bad."

Did you believe everything you heard on the playground when you were a kid? 😁

D stands for Diversity. You think every DEI hire is a midget? No-one taller than average?

What are you smoking?

So you're saying they do hire midgets. Hey you brought it up. What's in your pipe?

I did not say that.

It's called a hypothetical question, and I don't smoke.

This makes total sense.

How does this make total sense? In the US about 1 in 2000 people or over 170,000 are born intersex, with no defined reproductive organs.

Actually, there are some people who don't feel comfortable with their born sex.

And if a guy wants to play a woman or a woman wants to play a guy, let them do that.

The problem is when people pretend trans women are real women. They are obviously not real women.

Just call them trans, and don't allow them in women only activities like women sport or women clubs or whatever and all is fine.

Living in Thailand for many years most of us know that we can all live in peace together, independent of he, she, or something in between.

Personally I have no problems with trans people.  The trans community in many case assimilates well into Thai society. And they should be allowed to assimilate into other countries.  Want I can't abide by is trans activism in the form of laws that require you to use "proper pronouns" or allow biological males to beat the hell out of women competitors in sports or force women to shut up and allow some swinging dick to shower with women...and worse...girls  - all at the threat of prison if you don't comply.

Those days of trans activism have to end.  At least in the US they have ended for 4 more years.

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Not sure the Prophets were suggesting people should victimise, ostracise, subjugate, marginalise, mock, ridicule and taunt others....but maybe they did?

Why not just live and let live......!

A former authoritarian and oppressive regime in the 1930s started by using laws and policies to deny the existence and rights of individuals who didn’t conform to their rigid ideals of 'biological norms' under their Rassenhygiene or 'racial purity' policy.

And we all know how that ended for them.
