There are potential barriers to an EO being enacted...State governments, Federal courts, Congress can all launch a legal challenge.....if there is a will to to do so......there will be a challenge, if hasn't already happened, re: the Birth Right EO.

Time to revive the National I.D. card idea.

No card means no job no housing no NHS no benefits no driving licence etc.

Give police the power to stop anyone anytime and demand to see I.D. card.

No I.D. card means being given a choice of internment on a remote uninhabited northernmost Scottish Island surrounded by trained sharks in tents with no heating and a diet of porridge salt haggis and water or voluntary repatriation.

Masive fines and prision terms for any landlord employer friend or family member flounting the rules or harbouring illegals.

A large percentage of illegals are EU nationals. Dare i say "white" EU nationals. They came prior to Brexit, worked without paying taxes, couldn't produce the forms to stay, and went under the radar.

 

Unless you hear them speak, then ask them for proof of immigration papers, how could you not miss them?

 

For that matter, how can't you miss any illegals? Do they look different to legals?

I would suggest that some years after and the study by Thames Water as in this article of 390,355 and 585,533 sounds spot on or even under estimated.

Unfortunately I have been living back in the UK since 2018. Brexit in 2020 made no difference to my life at all, there has been no change in my everyday life.
