Well start pumping those tanks and planes out, the Russians arent much of anything, even the French should be able to beat them.

As I noted, that's a disincentive. But it's not a prohibition. It effectively puts a ceiling on how much tax a country can impose. And it doesn't answer the question of why Ireland, or any other country, should benefit from economic activity that has little or nothing to do with them.
Back in 2023 when the subject of TRD was going to tax any funds bought in after 1 Jan 2024 I started to transfer funds to my main bank account. Once I had enough to last me for all of 2024 and forward with those funds plus what I already had in country. During all of 2024 I did not transfer any funds in to Thailand "0". I figured it would be a long learning curve for both taxable foreigners and TRD, so I'm going to see how it plays out. I'm not filing a Thai tax return as I have nothing to declare. Now I'm just waiting to see how this turns out.
Happy with this, who would have ever thought Donald Trump would be president but with practical solutions to immigration, crime and nationalism got voted in a second time.
We need something like this.
