So many comments about them being criminals and scum and not a single post that provides any information of what they've done other than enter illegally. I agree, illegal immigrants should be deported, but not dehumanized.

I need a little more than just Donald Trump's word that they are rapists and criminals. But that's just me I guess.

Thank you.

Your comment applies to many people, and I for one agree with you whole heartedly.

Yeah that is the part YOU don't understand, since Columbia has sent their criminals to the sovereign state called the US

I'm sure the USA has tried co-operation before, as have many other western countries.   This leads to delay, which leads to more delays, and then even more delays and then no-one ever is deported.

Countries who export their worst scumbags never willingly want to take them back for obvious reasons so they need the right incentives to accelerate the "co-operation".

He's had 4 years to prepare for this.  He knew that countries would not want to take their criminals back.   His response was pre-prepared and effective.  I think Columbia's resistance lasted all of 20 minutes.   All those wet liberals saying how "complicated" it is to deport people have just been shown how simple it can be.

Wet Liberals! Hard core leftest.A ideology hell bent on Socialism/ Marxism stops at nothing to persecute their political rivals !

This new class of leftist in the world made up laws designed to destroy and prosecute , using Stalinist tactics, lawfare in the USA.

However, long before Mr Petro had a career in politics, he was once part of the M-19 guerrilla rebel group.

From kidnappings to elusive conspiracy theories around Pablo Escobar, the group often used violence to seize power over the country.

Oh I think Trump understands full well, it is these "others",  Colombia and many other countries who are so used to dealing with the ex POTUS, the feckless retard Biden and getting their way that are seriously deluded. That all ended Nov 5th and now for these nations who think they can just dump ANYONE illegally into the US now, they should get their heads examined and begin  acting rationally or suffer the consequences. Trump unlike Biden performs his duties he swore an oath to and PERFORM/ENFORCE he will.

There is really no need to waste money on aircraft or on fuel for aircraft when repatriating illegal Colombians.

The best way might be to float them back to Columbia on rafts, or open barges.

Columbia has plenty of shoreline for this purpose.

Instead of filling these barges with coal....

We can easily fill them with Coalumbians.

Problem solved.

Case closed.

Maybe someone should explain to Trump that other countries are not just colonies from the USA which must do everything the new president wants. How about a little cooperation between souverain nations?

But that is obviously something Trump does not understand.

They aren't US citizens, they are Colombian citizens, of course America can kick them out and Colombia has to take them.  What does that have to do with colonies?

Columbia was still receiving the deported by commercial plane. The complaint was about the military aircraft and treatment. Some reported not being allowed to go to the bathroom. And one country complained about its people arriving in handcuffs.

Expand

I agree that not being allowed to go to the bathroom is inhumane, but handcuffs?  What is wrong with handcuffs?  Aren't they criminals being forcefully deported?

"Some reported not being allowed to go to the bathroom..."

Some of the criminals made a claim that has not been substituted.

So, we have a plane full of likely violent criminals, and the left thinks they should be left free to roam about the cabin. How funny is that?

Just thinking that if I were a South American leader I would first give permission for the flights, then take it away mid-flight so there is a lot of wasted fuel and expenses. Then I would ban military flights as the cost is hidden from the public and demand commercial flights, where the cost is more transparent and the American pubic would find out how much they are spending on the flights.

Then when an agreement was made, check the visa status of all flight crew on landing illegally.

Bwaahaha

Of course, that would never happen.

Fair enough, but there must be a prior  government to government agreement in place to accept deportees, not just load them onto a flight and demand landing rights - that would be violation of sovereign country rights. Simply put trump is a bully and if not careful will trigger more conflict.

And if you try to negotiate that prior gub'ment to gub'ment agreement and get nowhere?

I'm tickled pink to see Trump playing hardball instead of being the feckless diplomat.

Well, they have an agreement now, so there's that.

The left wants open borders and mass migration. The people voted against that, and the people support deporting illegal aliens. Get used to it.

Even the lefty pollsters showed that Americans placed a high emphasis on getting control of the border.

Had the Dems paid attention to the will of the people (and offered up a decent candidate) maybe they'd be in the White House and have majorities in the Senate and House.  But they know better than the little people...  Arrogant bastards.

Edit:  But then we'd be arguing today about the tremendous increase in asylum flights into the USA from Colombia.

It would of been better to have an agreement in place before unauthorised flight. When did the Dems enacted an "open door" / mass migration policy - facts, not propaganda.

Practically since his first week in office, President Joe Biden has faced repeated criticisms from Republicans and some Democrats that his border policy amounts to “open borders.” This criticism is not simply inaccurate: it is unhinged from reality in a way that distinguishes itself from normal political hyperbole. Indeed, U.S. immigration policy is effectively closed borders, and Biden’s immigration policies and goals are largely the same as those of President Donald Trump.
