A fire started to clear roadside grass spread rapidly, igniting the base of a tree and causing it to fall into a road in Suphan Buri province. This resulted in a multi-vehicle crash involving three cars and left one person injured.

The incident occurred at 06:20 on 27 January, on the Makham Lom-Kao Hong route near Klong Kwai bridge in Bang Pla Ma District. The Suphan Buri Nean Kaew Highway Rescue Association and other emergency services responded to the scene after receiving reports of the crash..

At the site, three vehicles were found to have collided with the fallen tree:

1. A white Honda car (Bangkok licence plate): This car was severely damaged.

2. A white Nissan car (Suphan Buri licence plate): Sustained significant damage.

3. A gray Isuzu pickup truck (Nakhon Nayok license plate):

The driver of the honda, a male, suffered injuries including cuts on his nose and forehead, as well as dizziness, as the tree fell directly onto the roof of his car, crushing it. However, he was conscious and alert.

Emergency personnel provided first aid before transporting the injured man to Bang Pla Ma Hospital for further treatment.

Investigations revealed that the fire, initially set to clear grass along the roadside, spread to the base of a tree. The tree subsequently fell onto the first car and causing the other vehicles to the fallen tree and branches.

And the burnings continue.

No one seems to care. Just carry on as before.
