The problem is nations with fertility rates below 2.1, the point below which the population shrinks.
The UK is currently you at 1.49, down from 1.55 in 2021.
If I was planning life on the income from a UK state pension I’d be making new plans.

I never had problems buying my first house in the 90's.
Cost me 70k. Flats were available for 40k.
But then, there wasn't a massive housing shortage and I wasn't paying obscene amounts of tax.
I feel sorry for my nieces having to grow up in modern Britain. At least they didn't grow up in Rochdale.
So what? Tsahal has an extremely stressful job to carry out, these reporters probably used provocation to get get what they wanted: a good copy. Nothing new there.
