So picked it up! Byd Atto3 extended range black - Thai version.

bit nervous driving back home after picking it up 😅😂

 

All good - lots to learn but everything looks good - only thing is I didn’t realize how much the dash cam thing blocks view….i guess I’ll get used to it!

You mean this ??? (main screen) - how does it block the view ??? isn't your eyeline to the bonnet above this ?

I bet you're going to love it.  Bought my first 3 months ago and already want to upgrade.  Bought a Neta because I wasn't convinced an EV would be better than my diesel truck.  For my retired lifestyle EVs are perfect if you can charge at home.  Even better if you have solar.  Having a battery in my car that can power my home AC and lights during a power outage  is also nice.

no, I mean the box thing above/behind the rearview mirror…..I think it’s just one of those things I need to get used to.

Currently have it charging in the driveway, with the included slow charger but at least I know that one works!

 

one thing I can’t figure out is how to find the QR code to link to the byd app for my iPhone??

 

oh and an annoying thing is I can’t open the windows for 7 days……apparently have to wait for the film tint to set. I had to open my door to get into my village and then I couldn’t get the car going - think it automatically goes into park when you open the door. That opening the door to get tickets form parkings etc will be annoying for the next 7 days….😡

Did you plug your phone into the car usb port with a data cable?

Cos that's how it normally works.
