Who would carry that amount of cash around with them in Thailand? What are debit cards for? Anyway, seeing other comments; there are two guys, two sets of circumstances, one set of photos.

But 2 fatties?

Choose the best fit explanation for the initial accident:

- Meth-head

- drunk out of his mind

- trying to run away from the ladyboy who had just er... shafted him (for money I mean)

- trying to find a ladyboy to shaft

- mentally mad as a box of chocolates

- fatter than a fat elephant and smashing everything in his path

- wholly innocent of any of the above and was on his way to the local temple

You missed
On his way to 7/11 for munchies and nothing will get in his way after smoking a big bag of the finest devils lettuce.

There has to be more to this story!🙄

That's what I was thinking. There's always his story, their story and the truth. Nevertheless, this guy was treated badly. My big takeaway is to stay away from Airbnb and no drinking.

The size of him I reckon he'll be in cargo class on the way home which he will be soon given the amount of trouble he seems to get himself into and the 2 news stories created about him

As you say, it was his fault for exposing himself in/to these conditions.

Seem to recall these images supporting another story not so long ago, over stayer?. The Airbnb was letting illegally if under a month of course, I'd like to be the first to say there must be more to this story, smokey beat me to it

Yes.  Before it was a guy whose girlfriend ratted him out and he got locked up for a few days overstay.

Do they perhaps feed the images into AI and let it write a story?

Most strange!

Read the OP where it says "His Thai mobile, a Galaxy s21, was missing....."

Possible that @kwak250 was being a tad sarcastic?  Could it be possible that I am too??  Maybe we both fancy ourselves as comedians.

Seriously, IMO this story does reek of inconsistencies though.....

We have seen a trend of these stories recently. To me at least it appears that whoever's publishing them is looking to sensationalize things that are either not special or might not be true. I agree on the use of pics, as well.

That bowling ball on his 301 pound of lard body ( #6) with some (#2) is my vote. Also a little #5 but he obviously ate all the boxes!

I wager you are not bloody male model yourself.

They're certainly could be more to the story there's really no way to know at this point, it is all entirely plausible though not probable. The part about the police is totally possible, especially in Pattaya. They are some of the most greedy cops in the country.

The part of the landlord sounds extreme but it also sounds possible, he certainly should have had all his valuables locked up, if nothing else locked up in his suitcase, in which case either the police or the landlord would have had a steal or destroy his suitcase to get to any of his valuables.

if it were me and this actually happened I would be looking for major retribution against the Airbnb host, and would be looking to raise as much stink as possible online and in the media at home, as he has done.

Many people, millions, go to Thailand and have a great time, some get into minor trouble, but this seems beyond anything plausible. Certainly not saying he is lying, but the chain of events here seem very strange.

The system is definitely rigged against farangs, that's undeniable. But it always keeps an appearance of normalcy, until something is triggered. He somehow triggered it. Yes, the police and Thais involved will gang up against the farang. Fact.

Airbnb used to be different, nice and easy. After the pandemic I also tend to avoid it and all the problems associated with it.

If you can't speak Thai here, it's easy to have problems.  If this happened to me, I'd tell the Police and the others that they'll be appear on Channel 3 midday news with Num f they don't sort this out fairly znd quickly.

This has to be the biggest bunch of horse crap I've read here,, just weeks ago another British women shared the exact same photos of her hellish experiences of being locked up in Thai prison for an overstay,, so this idiot walks into the wrong place and ends up in jail then his Airbnb throws him out.

My question is simple I can understand the women sneaking her phone into prison here inside her snatch but how did this guy get it into there up his ass crack????? Please stop reporting this trash were not stupid.

If there are so many stupid British people coming here then maybe they should go to Blackpool instead.

Would love to see how that worked out for you.
