Is there a reason why all outgoing US Presidents don't have their Security Clearance rescinded? Seems to me to be more secure that way. Just like any other job.

 

Musk will definitely make massive savings for the gov't, USAID being a prime example, but giving him and his minions, all unelected,  read / write access to both code and classified data at the Treasury just seems wrong on so many levels.  Especially if they likely have a "Get Out of Jail Free Card" a.k.a.  a Presidential Pardon to cover them to at the end of Trump's term.
