TRUMP - Behind Blue Eyes

Featured Replies

During his election campaign, Trump would regularly play the Village people song 'YMCA'  and even got the current line-up of the band to appear during his inauguration celebrations.

Back in the 1970's, Pete Townshend wrote the lyrics to his song 'Behind Blue Eyes'.  These lyrics a far more apt for the current occupant of the White House.

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

No one knows what it's like

To be hated
To be fated

To telling only lies

But my dreams

They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be

I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

This song could be played when the current occupant of the White House makes public appearances, replacing the traditional 'Hail to the (Felon in) Chief.
