Europe now sees trump and Putin the same,,USA heading into isolation which is what orange man baby wants

Obviously. Is there anyone who doesn't recognize this? The era of globalism is over. The European globalist cabal is becoming more and more of a pariah everyday. Of course people want to isolate themselves from them and all of their collaborators.   The ones isolating themselves from the coming storm are the only ones who are going to survive.

You can use pejoratives like man baby all you want, but the truth is Trump is getting ready to expose the criminal activity of those you admire. The WEF/Europe is being isolated, and their crimes against humanity are about to be revealed. Get ready.

What an embarrassment these two are for the USA and it's citizens.

Trump & Vance are the laughing showcase to the world right now .... they are a dismal disgrace and it's sad to see the us fall into such disrepute for democracy.    More like extortion than democracy.

Well done Zelensky for speaking your mind and not cowering to idiots ....  and Vance proved he's an idiot !!

I personally despise Trump and Vance but with the situation as it is in Ukraine, real not propaganda as reported in western media, it was time to put the knee pads on. The only chance for slowing down Putin now is for the UK & France to send 100k troops each to the front line. 555 as if that would ever happen.

yes Pegman,  while I tend to agree,  Trump set that meeting up as an ambush,  he should never have had Vance there.  And we now know Zelensky doesn't cower to bullies ...

geeeze .....  he's been holding onto a country that's been in war for 3 years,  he deserves a bit of respect imo.

Genuine question - is it normal for the VP to take the driving seat when Potus meets a visiting president? Is Trump not capable of running the show himself or did he simply need his attack dog to deliver a more coherent dressing down?

I think their plan was to shock Zelensky into reality. This war is lost. Best bet is to stop it now. Should have been stopped Istanbul March 2022. The Yanks are surrendering. If Ukraine goes it alone it will be a Vietnam outcome. This is Paris Accords Jan. 1973 all over again.

How many battles has Zelensky been in then? Must be a few if he's so brave. Wearing that silly cos play uniform doesn't imbue him with valour.

You again with more pro Putin?

When at the beginning of the illegal war, that was started by Russia  by the way,Zelensky was asked if he needed to be taken out of the country for his own safety.

His brilliant and heroic response was,'I don't need a ride,i need ammunition"!!!!!

Trump never served his country,he still does not.

You come up with all kind of cowardly responses.

Are you getting paid by someone to twist the truth?

I find you pathetic.

Zelensky ran for office as a peace candidate. Once he won, having been sponsored by an Israeli oligarch, he changed his tone.

Does the UK even have 100k front line troops anymore?

Perhaps they can send the Household Cavalry- those burnished breastplates will blind the enemy as they charge through on their horses waving their shiny swords. Crimea avenged.

Love that post. With posters that can come up with such pertinent responses on Zelensky's side how can he possibly lose? :cheesy:

By the way, how can I be a cuck when I'm not married? :coffee1:

Is that really the main point? No it's not.

Zelensky is the president and not expected to be in the trenches / carrying a weapon. Someone must be in the background studying the whole situation and developing strategies.

Same comments for all world leaders including past US presidents.

This article states that the UK doesn't have the numbers they would struggle providing 10,000

"I mean, if we were to deploy 10,000 troops, each rotation for six months, that would effectively tie up 30,000 or 40,000 troops and we just haven't got that number available.

As of October 2024, there were 74,612 members of the UK's regular Army forces (excluding Gurkhas and volunteers), according to the latest Ministry of Defence (MoD) figures.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czep44jn9jyo

The only way of getting anything close to 100,000 troops would be to bring in conscription

but how many people would be signing up opposed to leaving the country is anyone's guess

Reality is if and when Zelensky leaves Kyiv it will much more likely be to Florida or Italy where he's reported {by Seymour Hersh} to have villas or Cyprus where his loot is banked.

So how  exactly does a comedian get to be so rich so quickly ? After all it took Trump 40 years and several "mishaps " to get where he is ?

That's absolutely correct and it's not Zelensky- he has zero military experience to be doing so. At least Hitler had been a corporal. Did you see Biden wearing a cosplay uniform? Do you see Putin parading around in a cosplay uniform?

Zelensky never even served, so he's no right to pretend to be a warrior.

CNN and other major media are today carrying video clips on their youtube channels giving us a glimpse of the 19 or so European and transatlantic leaders who gathered in London to discuss with Volodymyr Zelensky how to continue their cooperation in defense of Ukraine following the debacle in the White House in Washington yesterday, when Zelensky was humiliated before the television cameras and was shown to the door. Among the 19 whom I counted when they posed for the obligatory group photo were  Emmanuel Macron, Donald Tusk, Georgia Meloni, Justin Trudeau, Mark Rutte, Ursula von der Leyen.

In the few introductory words delivered by Keir Starmer, we heard that their common mission is to provide for European security, in which defending Ukraine plays a vital role. They seemingly wish to arrive at a common position on defending Ukraine that they will later present to Washington.

The problem with this is that they are knowingly running directly against the now crystal clear position of Donald Trump to wash his hands of Zelensky and to allow the Russians to finish up this war as they see best. The U.S. is about to cut off shipments of arms prepared by Biden in his last days and will surely not send any further weapons to Kiev out of its current budget.

It is utterly bizarre that these stubborn Europeans think that they have some leverage with Trump. Their blindness is not merely to the obvious fact that absent the participation of the USA in the war effort consisting of materiel, money and critically important satellite intelligence to guide battlefield operations, the Ukrainian forces have no chance whatsoever of standing up to Russia.  Europe’s possible aid will solve nothing.

More to the point, when they speak of European security, they overlook the fact that without vibrant U.S. participation in NATO, NATO can fold its tents since it will be nonfunctional. It lacks the air lift, the armaments manufacturing capacity, most everything to sustain a war that will last more than a few days.

By their present gathering, these leaders are setting the stage for a U.S. pull-out from NATO.  They forget how the United States under any president, not just Donald J. Trump, reacts to defiance from allies.  Just think back to 2003 when Germany, France and Belgium had the temerity to veto the U.S. drafted resolution before the UN Security Council approving the planned invasion of Iraq over alleged weapons of mass destruction.  Within days, French wines were being poured out into the gutters, French fries were renamed ‘freedom fries’ and there was outrage and indignation across the land.  No less will result from the stupid, pig-headed action of these European heads of government in London today.

As for Keir Starmer, he must be the stupidest of the lot.  When in Washington meeting with Donald Trump, he was offered a tariff free trade deal with the USA that his country has sought ever since Brexit. He failed to see that this was the deal:  you get tariff free trade if you just shut up about Ukraine.  But shut up this oaf could not do.  As they say in Washington, there now will be consequences.
On related news of the day, it appears that King Charles today gave an audience to his good friend Volodymyr Zelensky.  And does he still expect Donald Trump to come calling for the state visit and private dinner with the King that Starmer delivered during his visit?

Of course he will. Trump loves that sort of thing to get photos of in the media. Nothing better than hobnobbing with a real king.

Thanks for that, but at 1 hour 45 minutes too long for me to watch. The significant thing for me that Zelensky did was exhibit closed body language, and Trump looked like he was lecturing a small boy.

Biggest collection of numpties ever seen in the same place at the same time, IMO. Blathering on about continuing the war when they have nothing. Their countries are broke, invaded by aliens, riven by confrontational politics and losing to the right wing.

My only question is does the right wing support Ukraine in a war or want to end it. Significantly, the new German leader appears to support Zelensky, but does he have any there there to back it up?

The video shots of that meeting shows a total of 14, then 16 people in he room.

Is that normal.

Other references say that it's not normal for the US VP to be in the room and certainly not joining the conversation.

Other references suggest that this would be a very much structured meeting with talking points / decisions already well known.

So what's the deal here ?

And why 14 / 16 people in the room?
