He is not running around with nuclear arms, there are extremely tight controls, as there should be, on nuclear arms, even the President cannot unilaterally  fire them, unlike a person with gender dysphoria, firing a gun!

Because the additional expense related to their gender surgeries and medications make them too expensive.

In the military, recruits have to conform to the requirements- the requirements are not varied to suit individuals. It's not called the green machine for no reason.

I doubt that sort of person even gets to be in a foxhole/ trench/ front line. More likely to be a dishwasher or cleaner rear echelon type. The military also needs clerks, cooks and waiters in the officers mess.

Means a trans woman, may not be as physically fit to serve, if stating he's a man, since training requirements aren't always the same.   Again, not sure I would want to be on the front lines, with less physically able person.   If injured, will he be able to carry, assist me back to medical care.

 

 

To serve as a trans woman in US military, the must transition ... BUT ... that does not require sex reassignment surgery.  Simply living as a woman, and you get to train as a women.  Less physical training then men.   Hence the problem.

 

Same as competing against women.  If you can't 'qualify' as a men, just say you're a woman.  NO THANKS  ... prefer not to have my life depend on you on the front lines, combat zone.

I always had mixed feeling about the obvious lesbians I encountered in the military. They, with their androgynous features, short hair, gruff demeanor -- were a real detriment to the military image. And "don't ask, don't tell" was a joke regarding them -- you certainly didn't have to ask. But, hey, maybe as desert fighters they might excel -- at least during certain times during the month, when they retain water.

Serve with, yes, but not in combat.   Don't know a whole lot of woman that could carry me.  At least to, out of harm's way.  When in military, women were not allowed in combat zones.   Changed in 2016, for ground combat.

If I'm showering with another person, we're probably having sex, or prelude to.  

 

Not saying haven't been without clothes, with other people, men and or women in different settings, in younger days.  And not so younger days, just before TH.   Drunken parties, out in nature, 3-somes or whatever.   No desire lately, well, while in a relationship, and not since in Thailand.

Strength is not necessary when operating a high tech drone from hundreds of kilometres away.

Trans people were joining the military to get trans surgeries and medications, which the taxpayers would have to fund for life. And, given their medical condition, they are excluded from combat. 

 

The military does not allow diabetics in the military, why should it allow people that "require" gender surgeries and medications for life?
