Looks like a Nigerian name? Say no more!!!!

Very few of these "give me your money"  appeals show the next of kin or the person(s) responsible for the management of the fund.

Also (l could be wrong) but i recall a little while ago a similar fund was asking for 40k then it went up to 60k now 100?

  • No insurance again, then does the ultimately stupid thing here of riding a bike, Russian roulette. Don't feel sorry for him at all, now the begging begins as usual.

  • Unroadworthy bike. shorts. Crocs. No t-shirt. No helmet.   Even if he had insurance, they would refuse cover.

  • Haven't I seen this headline a few times before?

Just crash your motor bike and get badly injured job done

Just make a bull<deleted> story... the more sob worthy the better.

Even with insurance, thinking you can zoom around like 12 yeast olds on tricycles in Thailand, the country with one of the world's highest number of vehicle deaths is incredible.

Perhaps the TAT can add to the bottom of their advertising:

Remember: Thailand has no free national healthcare service. Accidents may cost you a lot more than you thought. Always buy insurance that will cover all accidents, including repatriation.

That will never happen.

Years ago we used to have a weekly newspaper here on Samui.

Every week, they published the number of accidents along with fatalities and injury counts.

'Someone in authority' ordered them to stop printing the numbers.

You can guess why.

The paper was closed down some time later.

This was all about 15 years ago, or more.

The average death rate back then was reckoned to be one per day but I suspect that was a slight exaggeration.

Is GoFundMe a bottomless pit?

GoFundMe is another Silly Con Valley creation.

They dip their beaks well into the pot of raised funds. Imagine the revenue. As such GFM isn't going anywhere and it's in their best interests to promote the hell out of it anyway they can (media stories, etc.)

Hope this fella recovers and back to normal.

If no MC driving license, they refuse to cover
