Free golf and massages. Not worthless.

I don’t have the right kind of stick for golf, and I hate massages, free or otherwise.  Living in Chiang Rai the chauffeur service is not available, I see a doctor every 6 months for a full checkup and blood work up, a skin doctor every 2 months, a plastic surgeon every 6 months and a urologist every year so I don’t think anything other than my basic 20 year package which takes up to 83 yo is appropriate for me. I fully expect to be brown bread by then.

At 67 years old, lifestyle and preventative medicine is the most important thing, once a year is not enough.

10 year LTR visa is 50,000 baht and no 90 day reports  and exempt from Thailand taxes owed  and you can get a work permit if desired.  I don’t see anyone close to age 50 and above paying anything close to 6 million baht now that the LTR visa is available.  I prefer the LTR visa and its benefits and cost over any and all the various Thai Elite Visas.

I am always amazed at the silly replies from those that could never afford a decent long term visa for Thailand that makes life a lot less difficult than their retirement/marriage visa (eg DTV or Elite).  OK, I get that you can't afford it or don't meet the criteria - no need to be annoyed by those that can.  There are pluses and minuses of every visa -- but be real -- those that can afford a decent no (low) hassle visa don't deserve the vitriol from the plebs!!!

What are the O2 levels in the rarefied air where the elites reside, that you would be willing to pay so much for a Visa to live in Thailand?

Then again, we should be honored that someone of your stature came to hang out with us plebs on this site.  GOD bless you for giving us some of your time.

When you have the means to ensure that the immigration stuff is merely a minor annoyance, rather than a major production yearly, then I would suggest that makes a lot of sense.

Here in the rarefied air of some one that can actually afford to live in Thailand, you really do annoy the rest of us with your whining about the difficulties of living in Thailand.  A little suggestion -- go home!

You are most welcome!  Now scurry off  -  unless, of course, you have further ruminations on the unfairness of your inability to make bank for premium visas.

Free Golf fees across the best courses in Thailand.

Free airport limo pickup & dropoff to/from condo/ hotel + VIP service at airport (no limits per year)

Please see this correction the OP posted early in this topic:

$6m baht translates as dollar six metres Baht.

The OP does not mention what country's dollar he means but it is safe to assume that it is the United States dollar (curreny code: USD)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dollar?wprov=sfla1

With m, the OP obviously does not mean metre or the prefix milli, but million. There is no official symbol for million and one sees different symbols used by different people and different news publications, the most frequently used being M, which is the prefix mega.

https://www.bipm.org/documents/20126/41483022/SI-Brochure-9-EN.pdf

With baht, the OP clearly means Baht (currency code: THB)
