A high-speed street race ended in a head-on collision in Bang Pakong district, Chachoengsao, leaving both riders unconscious and seriously injured.

The crash occurred at approximately 22:00 on 8 March, in front of Fong Sun Printing Co., along the old Bang Wua Road in Bang Wua subdistrict. Police investigator Pol Lt Jesada Uea-fuea from Bang Pakong Police Station, along with rescue teams, responded to the scene.

At the scene, police found Mr Kowit, 38, lying unconscious in a pool of blood on the road. His motorcycle, registered in Loei province, was severely damaged. Nearby, Mr Rachan, 27, was also found unconscious by the roadside. His motorcycle, a Bangkok-registered Honda, was wrecked from the impact.

According to eyewitness Weerapong, 43, Mr Rachan was racing another motorbike at high speed, lying flat on his bike in a “superman” position. As he attempted to overtake a vehicle, he collided head-on with Mr Kowit, who was travelling in the opposite direction.

The force of the crash sent Mr Rachan’s motorbike flying into parked vehicles in front of the company, damaging additional vehicles, including a motorcycle, a sedan, and a pickup truck. Both Mr Rachan and Mr Kowit suffered severe injuries and remained unconscious at the scene before being transported to hospital.

Investigators have gathered evidence and will proceed with legal action against those responsible for the crash.

Yeah, they have to make a long and complicated inspection here.

I wonder if they will conclude that the Government and the RTP are responsible, based on their lack of enforcement of traffic laws. Who am I kidding....TIT
