You may not be up to date. I go get a letter from BB myself when doing my retirement extension.

TikTok is excellent and was my GO TO agency for my retirement extensions before I obtained my LTR-P  Visa (10 years).

 

 I still use them as my one stop motorcycle/automobile license agency every 5 years.  They will pick you up at your condo, complete all paperwork, head of the queue privileges.  You still must take the test.  Then take you back to your condo/hotel.

 

Other assistance available such as opening bank accounts if one doesn’t have a retirement or other qualifying visa.

If the guy had the funds in there that should be straight forward. If he did it without funds, I expect they went out of town.

This.. Yes still used BKB for my annual extension but cost was 1500bht more. Added I did not need to attend bank or Immigration Office, so really a better deal.

It depends on which branch and inside contacts. Different agents use different branches of the same bank. Cambodia Inter used to use BBL on Pattaya Klang, but I haven't used them for several years.

Oh well, due to do mine beginning of December, just have to see how it goes.

Yes, we can never assume anything will be the same as last year, although they are allowing it up to 3 months early, so it might be worthwhile to check in now.
