But if you really want to Rich, carry on, keep blaming the Thai. The Thai who head butted the Swiss gentleman’s foot. I haven’t blamed the Thai - I’ve argued a possibility that there more to this than we’re seeing…. & given possibilities, especially when looking at where the motorcycles are positioned I’ve also highlighted you could be bang on the money this time… It’s called keeping an open mind & being rather cynical of what we read given the history of incomplete reporting we often see.. 1

Popular Post ronnie50 Posted March 17 Popular Post Posted March 17 I remember a few years back, a video on social media of a south asian man driving a car in Dusit District with those blue UN plates (looked like it was his personal vehicle, not a UN office car - no markings) . Someone cut him off I guess (not sure) anyway, he's standing outside his car yelling at a Thai driver and other Thais who stopped to watch. I think it was also in the mainstream news too.. So much for tact and diplomacy...At least no one was hurt that time. Takeaway point is that more people need to think before they act. Too many don't. 1 2

A complete fabrication made up by the bouncer who Knocked out the elderly (& aggressive Brit)…. There were full videos of that event, no kick to the nuts visible in any of them… . But you believe a thug who’ll attack an old guy…. Not untypical of your vapid character. 1

richard_smith237 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 5 minutes ago, MalcolmB said: Plenty more than 4 Probably a lot more… It’s not a valid generalisation though… it’s just a handful of idiots who happen to be Swiss…. The behaviour is not indicative of the general Swiss population. Take any group of people of nationality & some of them will behave poorly…. That’s just human nature. 1

And as such, some have worse reputations in Thailand such as Russians, Brits, Israelis and Swiss who are always in the negative news. And some are more respectful and behave better when abroad such as Japanese, Norwegians and Canadians who hardly cause any trouble. You can deny that if you want but it is true. 1 1 1

I actually agree with that - but to judge any individual based on their nationality alone is bigoted… … & you paint with a very broad brush & just write off societies & nations…. That’s bigoted in the extreme…. 1

Ahhh the good old sparks outrage. When a bus kills 17 thai because of woeful ignorance...na it's all good. 1 1
PJ71 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 12 hours ago, richard_smith237 said: Agreed... More to the story here... I hear the foreign man shouting "this is not ok what he do"... ... The Thai guy claimed the foreigner caused an accident then attempted to flee... So it appears the Thai chased down the foreigner and stopped him, then the foreigner fought back ? Not condoning the foreigners actions at all - but why is only one side of the story ever reported ? Thanks for the full explanation of what happened, it's an impressive talent you have.

Witnesses expressed concern about confronting the foreigner due to his size and aggression See this too bloody often huge, obese foreigners 2, 3 times the size of a Thai man getting aggressive, intimidating the Thai's. It's no wonder the Thai's gang up, they are so much smaller. 3
Ironmike Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Well the good news is today the Bangkok Post has stated that the 60 day visas have been cut back to 30 days now so this trash might not be coming here anymore. 1 1
henryford1958 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Just highlights the number of nutters, mainly farangs, driving around Pattaya. I had one kick the side of my bike the other day over some perceived slight. 2
Popular Post sikishrory Posted March 18 Popular Post Posted March 18 Ugly. The original story (pattaya news) says the Thai man attacked first with his helmet? Did that part get lost. Key detail. 1 2 2

They will jump on someone who cannot defend himself, when it’s someone who could <deleted> them up (like in this video) they are scared <deleted>less and do nothing. This video perfectly illustrates that foreigners, typically the fit ones between 22 and 32 years old, who think that they are above the law, because they are stronger, and become more of a danger on Thai roads. These foreigners show no respect for other drivers on the roads, using bigger and faster motorbikes. Which compounds the dangers that they cause... 3 2

Like those 2 young New Zealand guys who thought it was OK to wrestle a cop to the ground and steal his gun. All because they wouldn't stop for a speeding ticket. 2

Farangs can do no wrong and it is always the Thai man’s fault. These types show a lot more leeway for Thai girls though. Are you a self hating white guy? 1 2
