In Europe all British are known for extreme alcohol consumption... and of course they make noise, and get angry when drinks are refused.. Many tourist destinations in Europe are not happy with them

I go out for a drink or ten 4-6 nights a week.

I encounter these types probably at least once or twice a week on average.

Most of the times they are Brits, but not always.

I think it might be related to all the migrants in the UK now causing trouble, people are much more aggressively racist than 15-20 years ago. We are always complaining about them so they are always on our mind.

So some us get overly agitated when surrounded by non-Brits as it appears this lad has and it has set him off and he gave few of the non-Brits a bit of a spray.

His wife probably hears it all day how stupid the Thai people are.

If one is a racist, don't go live in a country where people are different than you.

the British man grew irate, hurling insults at the Thai workers and patrons. Apinan described the scene, noting that the man used disparaging language to belittle the financial standing of the local patrons

Just your typical foreigner in Thailand these days.

The worst thing about Thailand, the only negativity for me are some of the bloody foreigners.

It certainly seems the British are in the news recently for fights and drugs.

If by "recently" you mean since 1965, then yes, I agree.

  Cheers for not mentioning pedophilia.

As a UK Citizen, sadly I have to agree, BUT the Brits are not the highest consumers of alcohol (reference Google) -

Source: Eurostat. The EU country with the biggest share of its population drinking alcohol on a weekly basis is the Netherlands (47.3 per cent), Luxembourg (43.1 per cent), and Belgium (40.8 per cent).Jun 30, 2023

Sometimes.

Like 78% of people on this forum do according to a recent poll.

And sometimes I drive to a woman’s house.

But very carefully and slowly avoiding accidents and police checkpoints.

So you are the one getting "overly agitated when surrounded by non-Brits" and YOU are the one complaining!

I wonder what they think and how they react to you?

I am not complaining.

But from my observations this chap is not alone.
Usually the married to a Thai ones are more this way than the unmarried.

Makes you wonder.

He has often bragged about it just like his response here.

Admitting is not the same as bragging.

78% of members also admitted it. And about 100% of drinkers at the various places I drink. Only the tourists catch taxis, because the don’t have a car.

I have always advocated doing it responsibly and some wowsers still carry on about it endlessly.

Everyone is in control until they kill someone while drunk.

What a joke.
