Did we just had an earthquake?
Somewhere not long before or after 2pm out here in rural Kamphaeng Phet I started swaying a little in my chair for about a minute. I though it was something to do with me and a balance problem. -

Bolt Riders Nab Vespa Thief, Return Stolen Scooter in Pattaya
Pictures courtesy of The Pattaya News In a dramatic turn of events, Bolt motorcycle drivers in Pattaya took matters into their own hands early today, apprehending a transgender woman accused of stealing a teenager's Vespa scooter. The incident unfolded around 2.30am on March 28, when Police Lieutenant Colonel Sai Jai Khamjulla of the Pattaya City Police Station received a call from a group of vigilant Bolt riders who had detained the suspect on Soi Khao Phai. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Fuengfa, restrained next to the stolen white Vespa. The vehicle's rightful owner, 16-year-old Kirsa, and her mother were also present to confirm the scooter's identity. The Vespa had gone missing three days prior, on March 25, from a location near Villa Navin on Jomtien Beach Road, as Kirsa had reported to the Jomtien Dongtan Curve Substation. CCTV footage captured a transgender woman fleeing the scene on the scooter, which Kirsa subsequently shared with the Pattaya Bolt Drivers’ Facebook group. The community response was swift and effective. Bolt riders noticed Fuengfa riding a white Vespa in South Pattaya and decided to track and confront the suspect. After safely detaining her, they contacted Kirsa to verify the scooter's recovery. Once Kirsa confirmed the Vespa was hers, the police were alerted, promptly taking Fuengfa into custody. Both she and the teenage victim were transported to the station for further questioning. The cooperation of the Bolt riders not only led to the recovery of the stolen Vespa with all proper documentation but was also praised online for its efficiency and solidarity. Their quick thinking and teamwork have been widely commended as they helped return the stolen property to its young owner and brought the suspect to justice, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-03-28
