Well they did say a while ago that  those providing arms and other support to Ukraine could be legitimate targets  if those weapons strike Russia, of course the warnings were ignored as usual, and I was ridiculed on here for even suggesting the scenario of strikes on EU capitals in retaliation.

 

But I'm still not sure this was anything than the breakdown of the UK in general across all aspects especially in this case due to the idiotic "net zero" policy.

Is it true the backup generators were diesel emitting so closed down ? I'm reading this a fair bit on my X timeline, so taking it with a pinch of salt, but few prominent posters posting this. 

 

I'm not buying the excuse that it takes time for a backup generator to get up and running. That doesn't it render it a backup at all then.

Agreed 100% but far more likely to be some staff members EV that went woof with catastrophic consequence. Starmer putting his nose into Russia/Ukraines issues is sheer insanity after literally inviting a hostile invasion of Britain. Don't suppose his beloved welsh choirboys and dingy sailors are gagging to sign up to die for the Union Jack.

I suspect foul play.

The power substation had a catastrophic fire that involved 24,000 liters of cooling oil. Ok, it is possible. However, what is questionable is;

1. Why didn't the fire suppression system work? Was it inactivated?

2. How did the  Heathrow backup generator manage to  be damaged at the same time? It was located in a building separate from the  substation. (by separate, meaning that there would have been firewalls.)

 

There has been significant resistance to the expansion of the airport operations including adding a runway.I will not be surprised if an opponent of the airport is implicated.

It's a mistype. They meant cooling oil.   Transformers use Mineral oil.

Thanks for that, Mineral oil, would make sense, used for cooling, but that does seem a lot of oil, but what I have seen of the fire, it was one big substation.

If it was Russia I'm not sure the powers that be would admit it. One to prevent panic and secondly because of what it would presage. It would be a warning of the chaos that would ensue if a hot war broke out. Starmer et al would be wise to take note if that was the case. This is not 1939 - the interconnectivity of modern societies and the rapid flow of information and misinformation would be a vertitable descent into soceital madness.

A backup is something that comes on straight away, not requiring days to set up.

6th biggest economy in the world. 

Through taxation it offers free health care, free education, a subsidised university education in some of the top universities in the world (no $70,000 a year universty fees in the UK like Americans pay).

Despite what you may hear in the media it has a very low crime rate, especially serious crime. Gun Crime is rare. 

Healthy foods. Go try the foods you see in America, or the horriifc MSG they put in foods in Thailand.

Clean air - especially when you sit and breathe in the horrific polluted air in Thailand. 

 

It's cold, it can be boring, the economy is stagnating because of political sheer incompetence. The population is becoming racist. 

 

Not only single Brit would ever give up their citizenship. If you hate it so much, give it up and see how accomodating Thailand would be to you. 

 

Every single Thai would jump at the chance to become a British citizenship.
