(Then designated now the White House Chief-of-Staff Ms. Susie) Wiles insists she is not concerned about Mr. Trump’s most provocative cabinet picks, including Pete Hegseth, his choice to run the Defense Department. Mr. Hegseth, a military veteran who has been accused by a woman of sexual assault, which he has denied, has no experience leading an agency of nearly three million people.

“That’s what staff is for,” Ms. Wiles said briskly. “It’s our obligation to give him people that understand the business of national defense.” To Ms. Wiles, Mr. Hegseth is one of Mr. Trump’s desired “disrupters” of the status quo, just like his choice of Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence and Mr. Kennedy as the secretary of health and human services.

The president-elect, she said, “would rather have a disrupter at the top and buttress the disrupter with people who know the business or the agency. That’s the idea. And so if you think of it that way, it explains all of them.”

Vance et alia's take on Europe here is still nonsense.

A U.S.-led coalition of 20+ nations is already securing the Red Sea—launched under Biden, not Trump. Europe isn’t freeloading; they’re involved.

MAGA has swallowed the blue pill—stuck in their own propaganda, bashing allies while excusing enemies like Russia. Pathetic.

Maybe the problem was Signal.  If there's a problem with Signal, then nobody should use it.

    --Donald Trump, Stable Jenius

Uhhh...

Handling classified info improperly is a crime (e.g., under the Espionage Act and Presidential Records Act). 😂

Bottom Line

For personal privacy, Signal is one of the best messaging apps out there.

But for top secret government communication, it’s a major security risk and completely against protocol.

And this right here is why the NYTimes is pure garbage and a non reliable source. Tarring Hegseths name on the basis of far left conspiracies and fantasies.

When covering Biden, they never wrote "and Biden - who was alleged by his own daughter to have enjoyed showering inappropriately with her when she was a child causing her to become aroused and led to her embarking on a life of sex and drug addiction"

Double standards - not cool. Attacking a Republican on rumours while hiding Ashleys diary as it was so DEVASTATING is inexcusable. Revoke their media licence immediately.

And on the subject of drinking problems, it wasn't Pete that bought a Napa vineyard and is clearly intoxicated all day or shuddering with DTs even painting eyebrows halfway up his forehead and falling over brahms and lizst breaking his hip on an overseas jolly. Yet do the NYTimes call her out everytime her name is mentioned? Nope. Never. In fact I never hear one democrat fan mention it.

In order to be a disruptor, you first have to know how to rupt.

And the NY Times no longer owns any radio or TV stations subject to license.

You are raising a critical issue. We know about this one because they got caught, but how many other Signal group chats occured? On  which subject?  Ukraine war? Negotiations with Russia? Iran? Gaza?

They all seemed familiar with using Signal for discussing classified 🙂 information.

Exactly my fear!  WE can readily see from the Congressional hearing that they just held, none of these amateurs would admit to remembering anything, especially if it was actually "classified" but they "couldn't recall".  Well, now that we know for sure that there was classified info discussed there - each of them needs to be polygraphed about any previous chats held on SIGNAL as that will be the only way to know for sure as they will say oh never before and even if we chatted there, there wasn't anything classified or sensitive.  IDIOTS for sure.

What are they gonna say when the real facts come out.

BTW, what about that chat was classified. Seems more like a play by play for someone maybe watching.

Well, the originating military about the actual strike would know exactly what it was stamped and sure it is highly classified.

I initially joked that your frustration stemmed from not being offered the red pill like in The Matrix trilogy, but now I see it’s a real estate issue.

Seriously though—I’m sorry to hear about that. I imagine it’s had a real impact on your life.

That said, I can’t help but wonder—how do you feel knowing that my world is now poorer and less safe because of the misguided supporters of the cult leader?

Look over there...see those puppies.  Look at those flowers.  Wait is that a soccer match?  Joe Biden is old.  Taylor Swift wears sexy clothes.  Trump wants to take over canada and greenland and panama...look look...look over there.

Let's see what else we can come up with rather than address the issue that is being discussed which is a major big time screw up by a slew of the best and brightest of the cult.

Ok.

Meanwhile, the incompetence and gross negligence of the chat participants remains unaddressed. This isn't about Biden. It's about the new administarion's wrongful act. As you should recall, MAGA said they would never  do this and  would be  professional etc. They failed bigly here. Vance as the senior in the chat and Hegseth the  man who violated the confidentiality regulations, need to put own their big boy pants and take responsibility for this mess.

And why do people move to Thailand to discuss politics so much???

Whinge whinge

All military orders written ("Op orders") or spoken ("O groups") start with a "general outline" paragraph, before going on to detailed tasks and timings etc.

The drunken fool sent the general outline paragraph, out  over an unclassified and insecure messaging app a couple of hours before the operation was launched.

What an utter buffoon!

Anyone who has served in the military knows that any commander who made such a stupid and obvious mistake, and then lied about it, would simply be sacked!

Perhaps I should write Pete Hegseth's resignation letter for him:

"I have decided to resign my position as Defense Secretary, in order to spend more time with my family, including Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, Bud Weiser and Glen Morangie.

Wow, the spinning is getting absurd!

The silly Press Secretary thinks it's a big deal where the Atlantic "downgraded" their claims from "war plans" to "attack plans". How stupid is that? Only a MAGA could be fooled.

A war is a protracted event where information is not exactly time sensitive. An attack plan is extremely time sensitive and explicit on what weapons and parts of the military will be involved, as well as specific targets. So revealing "attack plans" over a non-secure public social media platform is more dangerous to soldiers than "war plans". Because SIGNAL is hackable by US adversaries like Iran, US forces were unnecessarily put at risk.

The POTUS then threw out one of his usual MAGAisms, calling the talk of the gaff a "witchhunt".

All MAGA parties are lying and claiming "nothing was classified". Of course it's classified. Also, DCI Ratcliff noted the true name of an agency officer in the chat. The officer would either be an SAC Ground Branch member on the ground in Yemen calling in target coordinates, or maybe it's an ex-Sana Station Chief located in another Middle East country who provided intel. Using a true name is a violation of the law and is classified. Goldberg noted the fact a true name was mentioned by Ratcliff, but did not name the name or location or what intel that CIA officer provided. Goldberg merely noted the violation of law by the DCI.

Could these clowns be any more incompetent? And deceitful, as they are covering up their incompetence with lies.

  • Popular Post

Since it seems this Administration has decided nothing is classified anymore, would anyone like to know what Putin has on POTUS?

I guess I don't need to keep it secret anymore.

All of the sudden the left is concerned with security breaches…
