Is this the best Sunday Roast ?

Featured Replies

It paid more than even Hilton charges for their massively overpriced (but tasty) daily lunches for 2 persons.  OMG. Laughing. 🤪

The monthly food bill would be 50,700 baht at this rate.  Woo hoo!  🤣😂

Yes, well if you can't afford it many swear by the ham and cheese sandwich offered by 7-11.

Scruffy Murphy's is the old Queen Vic.

Used to be owned by a New Zealander, not been back in since he sold it.

Me and wife would still be hungry after that meal.  Small serving of both ribs & roast.  But I guess that's the going rate for AC pub on Suk rd area, tourist ghetto.   I guess they didn't have any money left for beverages.

Not that I would ever take the wife to that part of town anyway.  As she doesn't need the condescending looks, or comments from some drunk, I might have to shove into moving traffic, as too lazy to fight people at my age :cheesy:

Are there any decent, worthwhile Sunday Roasts/Buffets in Phuket? Just asking, the picture made me hungry!

If you need a knife to cut the meat off the ribs, they would not be anywhere near “best”

Just a pleasant memory these days. One Sunday a month at Steak Kev's in Chumphae, Khon Kaen, Province. Isaan.

Roast beef, chicken or pork will all the trimmings including homemade Yorkshire Pudding, roast and mashed potatoes!

The bar/restaurant closed during Covid and the English Chef (above) sadly passed away recently.
