When Barr was Attorney General*. he appointed Durham to investigate claims about Justice Dept plotting against Trump., Both of them publicly rejected Inspector General Horowitz' claim that there was no plot by members of the Justice Dept to bring down Trump. Durham labored mightily for 4 years to come up with something. He met with Barr on weekends. They even traveled to Italy together to put pressure on Italian intelligence. Durham developed 2 cases on his own that had nothing to do with justice dept plots. He lost both those cases.
