Nothing much to do in regular Thailand
Interesting question. Money unfortunately has much to do with having some truly life changing experiences - or not. Nevertheless, I think it's simply about not wasting your life sitting about. Have an active daily routine and additional plans like travel or perhaps some form of work that brings meaning to your life longer term. We all naturally slow down as we age. Many things we have already accomplished on our bucket lists. Understood. If you have good insurance this can allow you to be more physically adventurous. I'm set back by this living in Thailand. I've lost a lot of my addiction for travel although it's probably more the banal homogenization of everything, cost and security hassles more than anything else. Still, my wife drives me to seek new travels with her - and I'm thinking more about solo travel as she must work another seven years. My big impart would be simply don't lay about on the sofa waiting for the grim reaper to take you. Don't spend your life in the pubs at the bottom of a glass especially if that has been your life. 1 You have one life and it's almost over. Realize that. 2 There will be plenty of time sitting about moaning about your health, plenty of sofa time ahead. We are all going to die, but you want to spend the balance of your life eating, traveling, fking and enjoying life. Not at home on your back watching TV.1 Get out and about each day, even without hobbies or sport - stay active. I think there's a strong cumulative effect there. If you have or can start hobbies and sport all the better. Being as healthy as possible without taking the enjoyment out of life. Reduce alcohol consumption, smoking and get appropriate exercise. Take care of your skin. Especially in Thailand - if you live in an sub/urban setting dressing nicely opens doors to meeting people and developing relationships. If you are single try to find an active, energetic partner that is minimum 15 years your junior. While in the process date women as young as they will have you. This will bring vibrancy to your life. The goal is sharing the time you have left, not building a storybook love story. Not easy for 60+ yo (especially to find a school with good administration and teachers), but working with children can be rewarding and a real energy boost. I held a Thai professional license and taught at some great schools. The years flew by and I helped guide many students into some excellent opportunities that will change their lives. So, work with meaning and purpose. ===== I guess what prompted me to write that is I have a friend in States with a big mortgage and a loveless marriage. He's stuck paying high taxes on the home in CA forever. He had some respiratory problems pre-covid due to a moldy air conditioner. This led to some complications with covid. He had taken numerous vaccines always seem to deteriorate as heath. His parents died mid 80s both with some serious health problems. He's pretty much given up on life. He fears a life alone especially as his health deteriorates. He's miserable. But.. what if he got himself on a healthy footing? What if he could improve his health substantially? What if he gave himself a makeover? What if he dumped the lump, cut his financial losses and actively started to search and seek fun, energy and adventure in his life? Well, that's a new life there. -

Fact-checking Trump and Miller’s claims of a ‘migrant invasion’ in California
Wondered who that was, but if Trump removes all the Mexicans from california it would be a disaster for the great Mexican food -

Tinted windows, I know nothing, please help
it seems, some of you didn't catch the sarcasm in my post ... when someone says that 40% or more tinted side windows are good, i think that's a dangerous (and scary) piece of advice! side windows should be tinted no more than 40% ... anything darker is risky to drive in the night ... drive safe to all of you, motdaeng. -
