Gaza Bloodbath: 30+ Killed as Israel Bombs Bakeries, Hospitals & Refugee Camps"

Palestinians inspect the damage to a tent housing journalists after it was hit by an Israeli strike, according to Palestinian Civil Defence, in Khan Younis.

Israeli airstrikes turned Gaza into a slaughterhouse overnight, killing over 30 Palestinians—including 15 women and children—as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to Washington for crunch talks with Donald Trump. Tents housing journalists, bread queues, and refugee camps became death traps in the latest onslaught, with harrowing footage showing a reporter engulfed in flames after his shelter was incinerated.

Key Developments:

  • Khan Younis Carnage: Strikes obliterated a tent and home, killing five men, five women, and five children. A later attack on journalists’ tents outside Nasser Hospital killed two, leaving six reporters injured—one critical

  • Bakery Massacre: Six Palestinians, including three children, died while queueing for bread in Gaza City. Civil Defence teams dug bodies from rubble as flour stocks ran dry.

  • Refugee Camp Horror: Shelling flattened parts of Jabaliya camp, killing four. At Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, seven more bodies arrived—including a child and three women.

Netanyahu’s Washington agenda includes Trump’s controversial 17% tariff on Israel and plans to discuss relocating Gazans—a move rights groups call “ethnic cleansing by another name.” The PM boasted of his “special bond” with Trump as Gaza’s death toll hit 50,695, with 115,338 wounded since October.

Humanitarian Collapse:
UNRWA warns food and fuel stocks are “critically low” after Israel’s month-long blockade. “People are eating grass,” said one aid worker, as hospitals overflow with burn victims and shrapnel cases.

Hostage Stalemate:
Hamas holds 59 hostages—24 believed alive—as Israel demands their release before halting the offensive. Netanyahu vowed to “keep fighting until Hamas is destroyed,” despite ICC arrest warrants for him and ex-Defence Minister Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes.

Global Fallout:

The White House backs Israel’s resumed bombing campaign, while the ICJ deliberates genocide charges. Meanwhile, Trump’s tariffs threaten to spike prices for Israeli tech imports—a side plot to the main bloodshed.

On the Ground:

  • Journalists Targeted: Palestine Today’s Yousef al-Faqawi died in the Nasser Hospital strike. “They’re silencing witnesses,” said a surviving cameraman.

  • Evacuation Orders: Israel told Deir al-Balah residents to flee after intercepting rockets from Gaza. One hit Ashkelon, lightly injuring a man.

As Netanyahu lands in Washington, Gaza’s survivors dig mass graves with bare hands. “This isn’t war—it’s extermination,” said a nurse at Al-Aqsa, where children’s body bags line corridors.

I'm very surprised by this article for two reasons.

1. That Western media is reporting on this, and;
2. ASEANForums is allowing it to be posted here.

I have never read that 1 terrorist was killed,, always women and children and news people.  Isn't this called one sided propaganda?

Only extremists brush off Palestinians deaths as if they were nothing and as if they were all somehow deserving of their fate at the hands of the Israelis and their allies.

Always making excuses or attempting to deflect any atrocity committed by the IDF.

The hostages are the only "bargaining chips" the Palestinians have. I expect they will not ALL be released until:
- Israel agrees to a permanent ceasefire and withdrawal of troops;
- Israel agrees to quit harassing. killing Palestinians and stealing their property in the West Bank;
- Israel agrees to begin talks on a two-state solution.

Which of the 30 victims in these reported air strikes in a bakery, hospital and refugee camp were participants in any of the heinous crimes you refer to?

Nope, those days have gone .

The days of talking and negotiating have gone .

Palestinians need to be expelled for the land .

That is the only way to have peace in the future .

Sounds like genocide to me, which is precisely what the Jews have wanted to do to the Palestinian Muslims for over 70 years... 😞

I think we both understand that expelling them from the land was always the plan.

Continuously building settlements, bulldozing Palestinian olive groves. There has always been that kind of 'collective punishment' as long as I can remember....and always the attempt to blame the Palestinians for all ills.

It's got to the point where you feel perfectly comfortable writing about expelling the Palestinians from the land.

You think that you have the narrative on your side due to the kind of coverage that we might have become accustomed to. The real one sided perspective of what happens there. Anyone who tries to open a discussion about what really goes on there is shut down with cries of anti-Semitism.

It's like one side doesn't really want any discussion about it at all.

Did the IDF target a bakery, hospital and refugee camp blindly ?

Always more to the story than the over simplification we are fed.

IDF are of course barbaric in their response and this is condemned, they are deserving of our scorn for the manner in which they carry out their attacks...

But this is a very large grey issue, for Hamas are clearly hiding amongst, using human shields - its a crying shame that they are using innocent Palestinians as human shields and its a crying shame that the IDF seem to have little concern for collateral lives lost.

This is extremely dirty warfare from both sides - but it could be stopped IF Hamas gave up their arms and hostages.

- Israel agrees to begin talks on a two-state solution.

The Israel-Palestine conflict has seen several proposals for a two-state solution over the decades. The idea generally envisions a sovereign State of Israel alongside a sovereign State of Palestine, but the proposals have varied greatly in terms of borders, security, refugees, and the status of Jerusalem. Below is a summary of the most significant offers and rejections - The rejections have mainly been from the Arab side.

1947 – UN Partition Plan (Resolution 181)

Offered by: United Nations

Accepted by: Jewish leadership

Rejected by: Arab states and Palestinian Arab leadership

Details: Proposed partition of British Mandate Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem under international control.

Outcome: Arabs rejected the plan; war broke out in 1948 following Israel’s declaration of independence.

1993 – Oslo Accords

Offered by: Negotiated between Israel (PM Rabin) and the PLO (Yasser Arafat)

Accepted by: Both parties

Details: Set up a framework for limited Palestinian self-governance and a process towards a permanent solution.

Outcome: Partial implementation, but no final status agreement; peace process stalled amid violence and mutual distrust.

2000 – Camp David Summit

Offered by: Israel (PM Ehud Barak) with US mediation (President Clinton)

Rejected by: Yasser Arafat (PLO)

Details: Included a Palestinian state in Gaza and most of the West Bank, shared Jerusalem, and land swaps.

Arafat's Concerns: No full control over East Jerusalem, inadequate land swap, and no right of return for refugees.

Outcome: Talks failed; Second Intifada began shortly after.

2001 – Taba Talks

Offered by: Israel and PLO (continued negotiations)

Accepted in principle by both, but negotiations were cut short

Details: Came closer to agreement than Camp David. Both sides acknowledged progress, but Israeli elections and political changes ended the talks.

2008 – Olmert Offer

Offered by: Israeli PM Ehud Olmert

Not formally accepted or rejected by: Mahmoud Abbas (PA President)

Details: Offered ~94% of the West Bank, land swaps, a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, and international administration of holy sites.

Abbas's Reason for Delay: Wanted clarifications and maps, political concerns, and internal division.

Outcome: No formal response; talks collapsed with Olmert leaving office.

2020 – Trump Peace Plan ("Deal of the Century")

Offered by: US (Trump administration)

Accepted by: Israel

Rejected by: Palestinians

Details: Proposed limited Palestinian statehood with Israeli control over security, settlements, and Jerusalem.

Erm...wouldn't the people to whom you are referring be more accurately called; Israeli Arabs?

To which Palestinians  Muslims are you referring?

It's also strange to me that Israeli Jews are not persecuting and taking homes away from the Palestinian Muslim "full citizens" in the West Bank, and that over the past 70 years, Israel has taken (by force) much of the land in Palestine that was not given to it by the UN.

That’s a huge exaggerated misrepresentation of reality.

There absolutely are extremists within Israel and amongst Israel’s supporters who have voiced opinions calling for acts that would be genocide, but they are a rabid minority and by no means any kind of majority.

  Nick,

You used the heinous crimes committed by Hamas as justification for these killings.

I’ve asked you which of the 30 victims of these bombings of a bakery, a hospital and a refugee camp took part in the heinous crimes committed by Hamas.

If you don’t have  evidence they did, then perhaps you should refrain from offering that particular excuse for these killings.

Thank you for at least admitting the IDF’s response is barbaric.

Though that only begs the question why would you offer up excuses?

@Nick Carter icp

I didn't join this forum yesterday. The "anti-semitic" tactic has been used countless time here. Anyway, let's not digress.

So good to see some balance restored here.

I have restored your quote back to it's full glory. Now perhaps you can get back to explaining what you meant by your statement. Because I have no idea as to what you were trying to convey.

Two Million Palestinian  Muslims Arabs have been given full Israeli citizenship and they been elected to sit in the Israeli Government .

Just a counter claim that Israel has been trying to expel Palestinians for 70 years .

\   They have been given full Israeli citizenship

@SMIAI please use the quote button when replying to another member instead of pinging them with their user name. It creates confusion and a disjointed reply that can lead to bickering in addition to not quoting their full in context post which is against forum rules.

Comment on moderation from the same poster also removed.

This topic is not about the West Bank.
