Former Israeli Commando Arrested for Illegal Tour Guiding on Koh Phangan

Commando-shmamando!
We got 1 SAS officer (only when he's pissed), one green and one black scarves, one maple leaf marshal and few super special herrings. They all are becoming very special after few Changs or Mekong. Sure.

IMHO if 45-something Israeli works as a tour guide at sh*t-hole like Pang Gan than he deserves arrest and a boot.

Your description of Koh Phangan is a tad unfair.

The island is quite beautiful in places and not spoilt by over developed like many of the other islands.

Not sure that it will be like this for long though.

A former Israeli special forces soldier has been arrested on Koh Phangan for working as an unlicensed tour guide, allegedly taking jobs away from locals.

Well that's antisemitic.  He should be allowed to be a tour-guide if he want's to be a tour-guide.  Bad Thais!

a) what has his professional past to do with his present breaching of the Alien Business Law?
b) how easy is it to find Hebrew speaking guides who are familiar with Israeli/Jewish issues like Shabbat, the difference between kosher and trefa as well as why the ultraorthodox need a

Shabbat goy. Latter is a non-Jew who performs actions that are forbidden to Jews on the Shabbath due to religious law.

c) touring children does not result in hefty shopping commissions of up to 30% which is backhanded by vendors, if a bus of money-dripping grown-ups arrive at jewelry stores, tailors etc .........

Jews make up a small portion of semites. Therefore it’s not antisemitic, rather its anti law breaking Israelis

   Why just Israelis thought ?

Why not anti law breakers wherever they become from ?

What does he show as a tour on and island that takes a few minutes to drive  around

Duh!
Good question though.
His predecessor could arrange a tour over Pang Gan for 40 years. At least

If you wanted to comment about one person, you should have written :

*This Israeli thinks he can do what he wants. Lawless person*

As in a singular word

But you made the comment about ALL Israelis , you used the plural

Gibberish

Yes, with your standards on writing, I do expect you do find it to be gibberish because you cannot understand it

Give me a reason why you like to pretend to be an " I know all better"?

You make yourself looking like a laughingstock.

Do you need that for your life? Is it not embarrassing as a half way grown up?

Even if English is not your mother language this case it too simple:  Just read. I am sure you can do better. Try again tomorrow 🤗 Tomorrow is another day.😂

There is nothing positive about arresting a naughty bloke for giving tours and educating children.

He’s illegal, do you condone this ?

Exactly!  And all Israelis, especially brave IDF veterans, should be allowed to be tour guides.  Not allowing them to do jobs that Thais can't do, like guiding Hebrew speaking Israelis, just just makes Thailand look like a hot-bed of antisemitism and anti-Israeli sentiment. These poor people just want to be able to make a honest living in Thailand and to provide a service that Thais can't provide. The laws must be changed to show acceptance for all Israeli expats wishing to live and work in Thailand by providing tour-guide services for young Israeli children and tourists who would otherwise not be able to enjoy Thailand due to cultural and language barriers.

What ?? So my nephew who’s been in the British army on difficult rounds, is a law abiding citizen , cannot be a tour guide , one of his Swedish friends from school, also cannot be a tour guide ? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. You can’t have different laws for different races. And who knows what this «  Israeli soldier really did in Israel ??

I was just pointing out the difference between speaking about 1 particular person and speaking about a whole Country .

I got condef when you claimed that Israelis are lawless people , when in fact you just meant the one man in the story .

I got even more confused when a staunch Anti Zionist, a self proclaimed Anti Zionist said be believed in Zionism .

I was speaking with a Zionist Anti Zionist and  a person who says Israelis, when he just meant one person .

   Confusing
