If that was a recipe for diabetes, just about every westerner ( and much of Africa ) would be diabetic.

Do you have any use for facts?

The USA is the country with the highest rate of obesity:

"The prevalence of obesity among U.S. adults 20 and over was 41.9% during 2017–March 2020.1 During the same time, the prevalence of severe obesity among U.S. adults was 9.2%. This means that more than 100 million adults have obesity, and more than 22 million adults have severe obesity. "

Do tell. Real allies don't exploit their friends for decades.

Given the numpties in charge of Euroland, they deserve to be scorned, IMO.

Do you really believe NATO and other 1st world US allies  enjoyed Free Ride on US "generosity"  for decades?

Have you ever thought about how much NATO member nations collectively contribute each year for US military presence in Europe?

It is as much as $2.5Billions.

Similar story about Japan as well.

They cover 75% of the cost of US military base in their country.

S/Korea, 40%

Japan approves 5 years more funding for U.S. military presence as China, Russia and North Korea threats loom large - CBS News

Have you really believed that US of A covered all of its costs to stay abroad alone?

Better study the world a bit before insisting  US is the victim of foreign exploitation.

NATO is now a pointless organisation in search of a means to perpetuate the jobs for the generals. It should have gone the way of BAOR long ago.

Let the Euros defend themselves and let the US military go home. The world will be better off for it.

There is a reason why he's been publicly avoiding medical exams for so many years, he likely has a multitude of diseases, and you can just look at his face and see that he's  quite sick, both in the body and the mind.

America go home! That is a great mantra. Love it.

According to his White House doctor, Trump is in very good health for his age.

Whether the doctor has the same credibility as Trump's golf championships is a different question.

https://www.thenewdaily.com.au/news/world/us-news/trump-news/2025/04/14/trump-health?

The Dr is unlikely to claim Trump is in reasonable health if he is likely to fall over next week.

You seem obsessed with every aspect of Trump's life.

You should turn the computer off and go out- enjoy the open air. I did that yesterday- lovely. Today it's raining.

I’m a little bit right of centre but completely agree with Jing’s assessment. Anyone who thinks the guy is fit for office or can’t at least have a quiet snigger at the OP needs their head read.

Given what comes out of the White House is mostly lies, it's difficult to discern any kernels of truth.

Perhaps Trump had a wake-up call. Weight loss is the first thing doctors recommend for diabetics. Nothing in the article mentioned his blood sugar or hBa1C.

Like it or not, everything Trump does affects people globally. Cost of living, pensions, return on investments, share prices. Why wouldn't I be interested?

I am down in the village, hiding out until another madness called Songkhran passes. I am doing more than just posting on ASEAN, thanks for your concern.

I’m sure the good doctor a career guy with a family mortgage ect ect is fully aware of trump’s absolute delight in ruining lives in the tens of thousands at a time (doge fiasco)im sure the good doctor is going to do EXACTLY what he is told to say.

sounds like you're hoping he drops dead before the term is up.

and then what? another election? vance? elon runs the show?

he probably isnt that healthy and thats one of the drawbacks of being in a powerful position. he probably barely has time to pee.

I think perhaps there's some jealousy afoot here. I'd  wager there's some 75 plus guys here who try to live healthy and still have problems. Then they see Trump doing as he pleases and still healthy.

It really isn't appropriate to start assessing Trump's health from the perspective of a jaded onlooker with no access to his medical files. Yes, the man is 79 years old. Of course there will be some loss of stamina, cognitive acuity, hearing and physical strength.

However, the man is doing very well for a man of his age, far better than his peer group. He is mentally sharp and  he handles questions remarkably well, Of course he has stumbled a few times.  I do too. I did it when I was younger too. It happens after an exhausting day. Make no mistake, he is street smart enough and still on the ball to run circles around most people. Geriatric specialists say that one should remain active to prevent age related decline. Well, he is quite active. I hope I am in as good as shape as him when I am 65, let alone 79.

He is on a statin, most likely aspirin,  and a Vitamin D mega supplement. These are not unusual. Most people his age are.

And no he does not live on junk food. He isn't a big fan of desserts either. He is a big meat eater though and doesn't eat enough vegetables. That's a characteristic of his generation, not of him specifically. Trump will most likely outlive many of his detractors on this forum. 🙃
