like, for example, the USA?

Ask the Average American which country they would never want to retire and probably they're getting tons of Immigrants from that country.

India tops the list but lots of high crime nasty S. American countries are in the list and even failed states like Haiti (average IQ of 67, yeah this is gonna work out well for America) . Mainland Africa would be higher but it's difficult to get them over in any numbers and thus Europe is getting them.

What about countries Americans WOULD like to retire too? Well those immigrants never come anymore because their come countries are preferable for most people.

America basically has no standards and will take anyone with a pulse willing to work.

It is called the Equal Opportunity Employment policy.

One of the best things about USA that is the multi-racial society, and widely accepted.

Anything wrong with that?

"Equal Opportunity Employment" is state mandated low standards. Look at how disgusting that country looks now. Flying in from Korea to LAX always hits like a slap in the face.

"Equal Opportunity Immigration" is also the official policy. Name the most backwards POS country you can think of and US will be trying to get them to immigrate (Haiti comes to mind).

If you hate it, and want it to go away, you should make some challenge back home.

Fine some comrades that sympathize with you.

And start the movement against it.

Complaining about it here, sheer useless.

Very few occasion where the apparent White Supremacist started  the Racist thread.

And well demonstrating some people are born without empathy and humanity.

What if he happened to be the kind of people he now wants to get rid of from his home country(just because of their skin color and ethnicity)?

I want to get rid of them because of their religion!

I want all foreigners that truly believe in any religion shipped back to their superstitious poop hole countries. Obviously that doesn't include any British Christian clergy, as most of them don't believe in God either, and seem to consider themselves self appointed social workers.

But essentially, there should be no place for the superstitious in civilized countries and belief should exclude all from government or public services.

That's exactly what Thailands policy is! If you're told old, fat or ugly you're not entitled to to work some jobs and the employer has the final say. "some people are born without empathy and humanity" I guess would describe Thai people then too.

The problem is they were brought there in the first place. While Thailand is trying to get quality tourists the US is trying to get bottom of the barrel citizens. Do you not see the problem here? In no scenario does this end well.

Half of British Pakistanis are inbred due to their culture of marrying first cousins. Yes they're Muslims but Indonesian Muslims don't have that problem. Some cultures are just beyond fixing and there's no reason to make this your problem by letting them immigrate.

It's all the same problem of people choosing equality over standards. Having an ugly flight attendants is not the worst thing in the world but importing cultures which are violent or inbred is devastating.

I remember a flight with Air Canada. The hostesses were so overweight they had to go down the aisle sideways. I found myself wondering how much extra fuel was needed for the extra weight.

My beef was that they got assigned to international routes based on seniority.  So a lot of them were old and jaded and worn out after fighting the airlines for years over pay and working conditions.  Some of them were absolute treasures.  But too many were surly and bitter and entitled.

I've never once seen a foreign airline's flight attendants refuse to help an elder female passenger put her carry-on into the overhead bins.  I saw it regularly flying US airlines which will go unnamed.

I had one overnight flight where I sat next to a flight attendant union rep and we talked for hours about the way the airlines abuse them.

The Asian airlines must be retire them after a certain age because I never once saw a flight attendant on an Asian airline who looked much over 35.

The US is doing the opposite I guess and making the oldest do the hardest flights. I don't mind at all the older cashiers but some jobs are not suited for people of any age.

The real problem the US has is these laws that make it possible to get sued if they don't hire you. If you get some mean fat black women apply and you turn her down even though she qualifies you could easily get sued for racial or gender discrimination. This is what I mean by state enforced low standards.

The way it was explained to me is that the international routes paid better, so they were much sought after.  They selected candidates based on seniority, from FAs that applied for them.

Which kind of problems in this kingdom you are actually talking about?

Does the skin color/race things matter?

Even though quite a few westerners make negative headlines as you can see even in Thaiger news alone.

And if there are any problems with their tourism/immigration policies, it is the Thais need to think about and fix.

Not expats like you(or any of us).

If you believe this country has too many problems to put up with(to you),  why you stay on here?

You don't deserve to accus Thai people.

As you well demonstrated you sense of prejudice based upon skin color and race.

Even when Thais often value whiter skin than the dark one, they don't  use it as the excuse to attack others.

Not like you.

Do you have a short memory?

You forgot what you mentioned in the thread opening text?

To me, it was enough to understand How You Look At/judge Others.

Just like saying anyone who doesn't match your aesthetic sense shouldn't work as cabin attendants for America's airline.

If you  truly believe justice is with you, why not post the same texts on SNS in USA, instead of here?

I predict you will receive a surge of responses from other readers.

this isn't strictly about race like you're imagining, the point is Thailand makes public comments about wanting high quality tourist while the US is trying to attract the lowest common denominator.

Remember when Trump said he didn't want immigrants from <deleted> hole countries and celebrities starting wearing "Haiti is already great already" shirts? That's what I'm talking about.

This is nothing new. 20+ years ago I was on a SAS flight from some European hub to Copenhagen. All the Flight attendants were elderly, which I don't really mind, but one was so fat she couldn't walk straight in the isle and had to move sideways. That was just too much for me....

I understand and sympathize with this point of view.

However, it seems that people will not even tolerate discussion of examining the special rights and privileges of religions.

As far as all Christian clergy I view them as "gravy train riders with a turned around collar" as Brando (as Terry Malloy) called them years ago. Parasites with a sixth sense for sniffing out a free meal.

Once when working in Los Angeles I was required to attend an "information meeting" about reporting elder financial abuse by a guy from some state or county  agency that was supposed to protect the elderly from financial abuse.

I asked him if his agency scrutinized churches who extracted donations from the elderly using "hope of heaven and fear of hell". He said that kind of scrutiny could not be done.

My co-workers acted like I had advocated eating newborn infants.

They were shocked and truly acted like I was out my mind.

Flight attendants 80 - 90% female. All middle aged, all overweight

Thank the unions for that. Years ago, PanAm had twice yearly weight checks, which you had to pass or be grounded. Also, strict grooming standards. Unions argued that was discriminatory, as the males weren't held to the same standards. Now, we have what we have -- mile high piggers, whose age requires them to wear diapers.

Pilot unions also argued to allow otherwise healthy pilots to be overweight. Only restriction: fatties could not fly Boeing products, because they have a control column, which might get jammed by a pot belly. Thus, restricted to Airbus products, where there's a sidestick. 😞

Twenty years back I was invited to conduct one full day lecture every week end for a year re the impact of leadership behaviors on motivation and performance. This was at a Thai university which conducted a one year week-end program 'Executive MBA - Motivation and Leadership'.

Total of about 25 students, most between 30 and 45 years old, 50/50 Thai and foreign* students (*some were foreigners who had been working in Thailand longer-term and some were exchange students, signed up to attend this specific program.)

One guy (American) arrived 1 hour late, quickly walked over to me, interrupted as I explaining an important point.

I asked him to sit down, he didn't and he requested that I start the lecture again. Several other students (Thai and foreign) instantly told him to sit down and be quiet, they also apologized to me and asked that I continue.

At the coffee break the American approached me and tried to insist I repeat the first hour again in the lunch break. I refused.

I asked him what work / activity he was doing in Thailand. His response 'teaching English to hilltribe people'. Another foreign student was listening and said 'yes, so they can read the bible and so he can threaten them with punishment from god if they disobeyed (disobey the American).

I had been using a set of PowerPoint slides which are the intellectual property / copyright of my own company, all coming from respected long-term global research.

The students had been given paper handouts which gave a very big picture of the salient points but no graphics or further explanations, all because of copyright.

Before the lecture started the handout content and the strict copyright of the original PowerPoint slides was well explained and I told the students they needed to add their own further notes as I spoke.

AT the lunch break, as soon as I stopped the lecture a Thai student quickly said to me (as he was pointing) the American is doing something with your notebook. I stepped quickly to my notebook and discovered he had inserted a thumb drive.

I asked 'what are you doing?' 'I want a copy of your PowerPoint file.'

I responded 'I told you earlier / very clearly they have full copyright.'

He continued 'but I'm sure god will allow you to give me a copy'. He then asked me to sit down and asked me to hold my hands in a prayer position. He said "I will now pray to god to give you permission to give me a copy of the file".

I puller the thumb drive out of my notebook and asked a student to open the thumb drive and see if my file / part of my copyrighted work had been downloaded to the thumb drive. About 20% of the file had been downloaded. I then asked the student to remove my content from the thumb drive.

Mr. America was not perturbed, but commented 'You are disrespecting gods' desires'.

Mr. America didn't attend the fifth and fourth lesson. Then I got a phone call from the dean "your student is in the lock up, waiting for a judge to sentence him".

I asked 'do you know what he had done?"

Dean responded "yes, it seems for at least 2 years he has been take young hill tribe boys (13 to 17 years old) to his house to work for him 2 or 3 days each week.

Much more recently he asked a 17 year old boy to come to his house, the boy came but discovered that all the other boys (apparently about 10 in total) very all nude and Mr. America was fondling their front parts and their rear parts.

The boy fled and went home and told his parents. The boys father is a senior regional cop. In fact that family not hill tribe people.

The father quickly questioned several other boys, they all confirmed Mr. America's  activities.

Mr. America was instantly arrested and was awaiting a court hearing.

Later we learned that he had been fined 50,000Baht and deported and banned form ever entering Thailand again.

This sums it all up right here. Not surprised unions were behind this.

The idea of discrimination has turned totally pathological and now prevents the mere having of standards, literally state mandated low standards.

I'm not against Christians in general but those people who come to Thailand and prey on the hill tribes really bother me. Those people don't have a written language or formalized religion so they're easy targets. I am however surprised they were receptive to foreigners telling them anything because they're incredibly inward looking and standoffish people.

If people know or can read Thai you'll see this yellow signs often hung up high up in trees in the mountains regions of the north where the hill tribe live. The general message is always something like "Jesus is the way to eternal life, repent etc... etc....". I wish the government would tear them down because they're clearly posted illegal on public roads and often in public forests too.

They've been successful too because you do see the jesus fish on cars far more often then you think if you live around those populations. I see crosses hanging in cars and on necklaces too and of course the odd church here or there.
