Im in the mealroom (by myself) on this rainy night shift night and I WAS eating eggs until I read this !

I cooked 4 hardboiled eggs to take to work tonight .... ALL now in the garbage bin !

I will have to make my way to the 24 hour 711 to buy a classic Aussie meat pie and much cheaper here (Australia) than that "rip off " pie shop in Pattaya/Jomtien

Anyway can we please get back to the subject thanks !

This is fake nonsense. Many of the most long living people eat it daily for breakfast but suddenly it is a problem today? Right. Meanwhile nobody is actually focusing at unhealthy processed foods etc etc. They can't even tell what really caused it.

Live long and healthy, most energy, no over weight: a lot of eggs, bacon, meat and milk.

I've been eating eggs moderately all my 67+ years on this planet and have coffee with my milk - I really like it a light brown color in the cup. I JUST got back from the US with a doctor's report from bloodwork while I was visiting, and my cholesterol is perfect. I also exercise regularly and eat a proper diet most of the time.

Cardiologist warns popular breakfast food is a 'cholesterol bomb'

Leading experts and researchers have highlighted how three types of food could increase someone's risk of developing high cholesterol and thus their risk of heart disease

Most healthy people can eat up to seven eggs a week without increasing their risk of heart disease. Some studies have shown that this level of egg consumption might even help prevent certain types of stroke and a serious eye condition called macular degeneration that can lead to blindness.

Long been known it is the yoke full of cholesterol.  I would think having 3 or 4 full eggs including yoke everuday is not the best.  Add, eating out they can be full of oil.

I usually mix half.  If 2 eggs just one yoke the other white only.

Also, some studies do say cholesterol is good and having it higher is not a problem.   A test one can get which I recently had is a CAC, Coronary Artery Calcium.  It is a CT scan to see the plaque in arteries.  Mine was fortunately zero although my cholesterol is 215.  The Doctor said zero is fantastic for my age and told me to just keep doing what I do.

Dr, Steven Lome is the quoted physician.

Along with eggs, he also recommends not eating red meat.

He is the founder of an organisation that advocates a plant-based diet.

I'll stick to my carb free diet of beef, bacon, salmon, eggs, and cheese....and vodka. :coffee1:
