A gunman opened fire on a BMW parked outside a luxury condominium in the Nakniwas area of Bangkok, shattering the car’s windows. After shooting, the assailant proceeded to strike the BMW with a baseball bat, damaging the rear lights, before fleeing the scene. The owner of the vehicle was left bewildered, stating he had no known enemies.

The incident occurred at approximately 02:10 on 28 April when the owner, Mr. Sakkdapol parked his black BMW 320i (license plate from Bangkok) and entered the condominium building. At around 02:30 the owner returned to find his car had been severely damaged, with multiple bullet holes in the windows.

Authorities arrived on the scene and found six 9mm bullet casings scattered around the area. Three of the rounds had been fired, while the remaining three had not been used. The vehicle’s windows were shattered, and the owner could not identify any suspects or explain the motive, as he claimed to have no enemies.

Witnesses, including security personnel, reported seeing a grey Nissan without a license plate pull up alongside the BMW. A man in the Nissan fired several shots at the car before reversing, exiting the vehicle, and using a baseball bat to smash the passenger side windows and rear lights. The attacker then fled the scene in the direction of the nearby wood factory.

Police and forensic experts are currently investigating the incident and are working to identify the perpetrator for prosecution.

and had recently got a new girlfriend? 😄

According to the latest news, you may be shot if you appear in the wrong place at the wrong time. Let's remember the Thai gunman responsible for the death of a 17-year-old woman. Just unlucky

Why is it so easy to find US-style baseball bats in Thailand?

I don't like BMWs, and confess to reservations about many of those who drive around in them, and their "driving style".

A bit over the top though!

I don't know.

But someone should bring baseball to Thailand.

Not using bats for thuggery.

I have had BMW but wouldn't buy one again. They are a great drive and extremely comfortable but small issues cost you a fortune. The people you are referring to would drive very badly if they had a bicycle.

The vast majority of adults can't actually ride a bicycle competently, and few are in good enough shape to cover any distance.

Id say far more can drive.

"Drive" is a somewhat contentious word when referring to Thai driving

I wasn't being race-specific.

I have seen my fair share of crap drivers everywhere.

Not connected with a recent incident of BMW versus pickup??

Just another addition to the long list of weapons used here.

My thoughts exactly...

The BMW was not parked in 'regular condo parking'... rather is was parked outside the Condo, in much the same manner a visiting 'guest' may park...  the owner [of the BMW] also returned to their car at 02:30am, which suggests he was 'leaving'...    which also indicates he had been 'visiting someone'....

First steps... Find out what car the new GF's ex drives !!!!
