Curious so I looked for the number 1,100,000+ international students in US higher education. Like tourists spending their money here (never mind the opportunity to create good will). So, 4,000 committing crimes. Wonder how that compares with the general population percentages? Well, if charged with crime, given due process, I have no issue with revoking Visa and deporting as undesirable. Same with any foreign citizen … including the current gang member debacle … due process and out they go.

Not heard of any students jailed for free speech. Free speech has nothing to do with it. This has been covered numerous times

I prefer to just make anti-Trump remarks. They just come naturally to me. 😉 

 

But, I think anyone on any type of visa should have that visa revoked if they "commit" (charged, go through due process, and are convicted) of a "serious crime" (felony).  I don't believe most of these students fit that requirement.

A shame really unless those whose Visas were restored only committed minor incidents. In BBC the report is saying that many were restored, not all 4000. It is also saying that new rules will be in force for all International students. So this will not be a problem in the future. 

Just like every country, if you go there to commit a serious crime, you serve time and get deported. The US should maintain this rule as well and enforce it.

I really find it very hard to believe that news services never told anyone in the US or world about these International students being convicted or serious crimes like trafficking and others, just to keep making Biden/Harris looking good. I can not wait to see how many normal people on Visas are caught with serious felonies committed in the US who slipped through Bidens lack of immigration enforcement.

A democracy, IMO, is the best choice for the government to run a socialist economy. It's a lot better than what we (the USA) has now, a plutocracy. 

I am "an enemy" of a republic. I think the need for that, especially concerning the Electoral College, is outdated and should be abandoned. I'd favor a true democratic general election to determine the presidency. For more information on this, you could read Rung & Bill:  US Electoral College - Opinion.

I think the House of Representatives is okay, as long as the number of congressmen from each state is determined on the number of registered voters and updated frequently. I think the Senate is outdated for the same reasons as the Electoral College.
