I’m sure he does it just doesn’t fit his narrative no more no less he’s an amoral person.

Doesn't appear that way in his argument in the video.

He seems very sure.

You might be right, anything's possible.

So where is the actual photo?

The interviewer said the tattoos could be 'interpreted that way' in reply to Trump, then swiftly moved on to Ukraine.

Here's the actual photo, being held up by Trump.

As the article linked to below points out:

Quote

The characters “M,” “S,” “1” and “3” are different colors, are clearly a computer-generated font and aligned vertically. In addition, typed words were added below each symbol in almost illegibly tiny letters: “Marijuana,” “Smiley,” “Cross” and “Skull.”

The actual "MS 13" was added to the photo to make it clear what the actual tattoos mean. Like adding a caption. But the meaning of the tats is rather clear.

As is his history of abusing his wife. Or don't we believe all women any more?

It would be great to have confirmation by law enforcement. As claimed in that explanation tweet. Would clear this whole thread right up.

How do you say metoo in Spanish?

I too have a friend who is a convicted human smuggler. I borrow his car when im out with my 8 peeps and I need to do a little shopping for my lady.

How did he obtain a wp while in USA illegally ?

If you watch the video it's clear what Trump thought.

You'd think everyone can agree that the deported deserve due process. By all means deport if appropriate and within the law and done in  a reasonable way.

Yeah i heard that also. First the reporter says the tattoos were photoshopped into the picture. Then he says there were no tattoos on the man while in the immigration detention outside the US. But then he goes on to confirm there were tattoos on him that could be interpreted as MS 13 but he was not really in the gang and those were chosen for another reason haha...

The OP sure was good though to fuel the Dems and Trump haters. Regardless if the reporter was lying.

No, he din't.  Terry, the reporter, said the interpretations "M-S-1-3" were photoshopped.  He said there were tattoos that could be interpreted as meaning MS13.  He said the interpretations were not on his hand in El Salvador, only the tattoos.

Here's a quick transcription of the entire clip for your edification.

************************

Trump:  "He said he wasn't a member of a gang, and then they looked and on his knuckles he had 'MS13'"

Reporter:  "There's a dispute on that."

Trump:  "Wait a minute, wait a minute.  He had MS13 on his knuckles."

Reporter:  "Well [garbled] he had some tattoos that were interpreted that way.  But, let's move on...."

Trump:  "Wait a minute...Hey, Terry, Terry, Terry...."

Reporter:  "He didn't have the letters M-S-1-3..."

Trump:  "It says M-S-1-3."

Reporter:  "That was photoshopped,.....so lemme...."

Trump:  "That was photoshopped?  Terry, he had.....Hey, they're givin' you the big break of a lifetime, you know, you're doin' the interview.  I picked you, because frankly, I never heard of you, but that's okay."

Reporter:  [garbled]

Trump:  "Terry, but you're not being very nice.  He had MS13 tattooed...

Reporter:  "We'll agree to disagree.  I want to move on to something else."

Trump:  "Terry, Terry.....do you want me to show you the picture?"

Reporter:  "I saw the picture, we'll agree to disagree."

Trump:  "And you think it was photoshopped?"

Reporter:  "Here we go, here we go...."

Trump:  "Don't photoshop it.  Go look at his hand.  He had MS13...."

Reporter:  "He did have tattoos that can be interpreted that way.  I'm not an expert on that.  I want to turn to Ukraine...."

Trump:  "No, no, Terry, no, no....no, no....He had M-S as clear as you can be, not interpreted.  This is why people no longer believe....the news, because it's fake news.

Reporter:  "Well...........When he was photographed in El Salvador they aren't there,   But let's just go on."

Trump:  "He...is...there....oh, they weren't there then, but they're there now, right?"

Reporter:  "No............But they're in your picture.  Ukraine, sir..."

Trump:  "Terry, he's got MS13 on his knuckles.

Reporter:  "All right"

Trump:  "Okay..."

Reporter:  "We'll take a look..."

Trump:  "It's...you do such a disservice..."

Reporter:  "We'll take a look at that, sir."

Trump:  "Why don't you just say 'Yes, he does' and, you know, go on to something else?"

Reporter:  "It's contested."

I disagree.. Even if the law enforcement goes to the press and states yes, those are MS13 tats... The Dems will never accept it as it strays from their means to attack Trump on every front. By the way, the federal police force already said those tats were MS!3 related. Did that make a difference to any Dem? NO

Kinda irrelevant though, the two were really talking past each other, trying to get their respective talking points in.

And Garcia had his day in court, many times.  You want him as a neighbour?

Wrong on both counts. Trump clearly says in interview the MS13 tattoo is real and not photo-shopped above the original tattoos.

The original tattoos (without the MS13 photo-shopped text) have no basis of meaning MS13 anyway, as the gangs tattoos are clearly documented and available on the internet showing different images.

So, the original tats are just a random collection of symbols that were put together with no thought other than their artistic appeal?  Come on, man.  To quote Joe Biden, "this is a bad dude".

It's amazing people can be duped by President like this, when he is surrounded by sycophants all preaching the same lies and no one points out the errors of his ways.

The tattoos on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles—a marijuana leaf, smiley face, cross, and skull—do not definitively indicate MS-13 membership, according to multiple gang experts and researchers. The Trump administration's claim, amplified by a digitally altered photo labeling these tattoos as "M," "S," "1," and "3," suggests they spell out "MS-13."

Experts like Steven Dudley of InSight Crime and Roberto Lovato, who has studied MS-13, state these symbols are not known MS-13 signifiers and are commonly used in mainstream tattoo culture. Some law enforcement officials note that certain symbols, like a marijuana leaf, have appeared on gang members, but they are not exclusive to MS-13 and are insufficient alone to prove affiliation. Current MS-13 members consulted by Lovato also denied these tattoos represent the gang.

The narrative tying these tattoos to MS-13 appears largely driven by the Trump administration, with critics pointing out the lack of concrete evidence and the photo's alteration as misleading. Meanwhile, Garcia’s legal team and family deny any gang ties, and no court has definitively ruled him a gang member based on these tattoos.

Plus the guy is thriving in gangbanger jail. Fake gang imposters would have been ended in the 1st day. No point expecting logic or honesty from Trump hating MS13 lovers.
