Who wants to see Trump’s $20 billion civil suit involving CBS,go to trial?

Featured Replies

Many want it to run its course , go to trial . It aint about the money , its exposing the Corrupt CBS media & 60 minutes .At a White House press conference with Conservative media

influencers ,the question was discussed.

The incident:

“The President sued the broadcast news show last year over accusations that it deceptively edited an interview with Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris”.

The story is about a Forbes & Politco  report

The settlement would not be of merits to the case just that CBS/Paramount needs FCC approval for a sale of licensed broadcast properties.

The case itself may be a dud as it is only about Texas consumer protection laws and Donald Trump does not fit the definition of 'consumer' under the Texas law.

From the complaint filed in Amarillo TX Federal Court:

55. President Trump is a “consumer” within the meaning of the DTPA, since he is an individual who sought and received CBS’s broadcast services.

From the DPTA Texas statutes:

Sec. 17.45. DEFINITIONS. As used in this subchapter:

(4) "Consumer" means an individual, partnership, corporation, this state, or a subdivision or agency of this state WHO SEEKS OR ACQUIRES BY PURCHASE OR LEASE , any goods or services, except that the term does not include a business consumer that has assets of $25 million or more, or that is owned or controlled by a corporation or entity with assets of $25 million or more.

It’s a distraction and a way to intimidate the media….keep in mind he just intimated many law firms into providing millions of pro bono work.hes an insidious evil cancer of a man who belongs in the penitentiary not the Oval Office.

If I were president I’d try to work within the constitution follow the law try not to tank the economy and stand for American ideals and interests…….

ABC and daffy George just got spanked in Trumps civil suit. A nice bonus ($15M) for Trumps presidential library. Regime media never learns, far too dumb. Trump can't stop WINNING.
