A shocking video capturing a clash between ladyboys on Patong’s Soi Bangla has gone viral, causing a stir among tourists and locals alike.

The footage, shared on a Facebook page dedicated to Phuket news, shows the heated altercation taking place in the bustling tourist area, drawing widespread concern about the impact on Phuket's image as a prime travel destination. Attribution of blame and a call for stricter law enforcement have dominated discourse following the incident.

The video was posted on the โหดจัง จังหวัดภูเก็ต Facebook page, quickly drawing attention for the chaotic behaviour captured on one of Phuket's most famous streets.

While the exact cause of the disagreement remains unclear, the video shows two individuals engaged in a physical brawl, surrounded by onlookers amidst the nightlife district. It's triggered a flood of commentary online, with worries mounting over how such incidents might tarnish the reputation of this popular holiday spot.

Concerns are rife, with many fearing these scenes could skew perceptions of tourist-friendly Phuket. Comments flooded in with one user lamenting, “This kind of behaviour is not what Phuket stands for. Outsiders might think poorly of us due to actions like these.” Others emphasised the detrimental effect on local businesses and the livelihoods dependent on a solid tourist trade.

Yet, amid the criticism, a significant number of reactions called for a balanced approach. While some demand immediate, stringent law enforcement, others stressed the importance of distinguishing the actions of individuals from a broader community.

A recurring sentiment urged that equality should be maintained, even as authorities address specific misconducts. As one user said, “Let’s tackle this issue by focusing on individuals, not entire groups.”

As the video circulates widely, the pressure mounts on local authorities to address public concerns effectively. How Patong's law enforcement agencies choose to respond remains a topic of intense interest as residents and tourists await decisive action. The incident highlights the delicate balance between maintaining order and respecting diverse communities in one of Thailand’s top tourist destinations.

Just close the venues down. I think everyone has had enough of the “ ladyboys “ which name is an insult to real women.  They’re not nice people.
Phuket and elsewhere will regret letting them roam free on the streets where tourists with kids walk. Should they tell the tourists not to go there , continue making excuses ? They never bothered me years ago, and seemed to behave ok. Now they’re a bunch of violent thieves gone viral.

Sorry to say Thailand has had a bad reputation for years, but now it’s OTT.

The boys, the girls, the Trans , the rip off artists, the dangerous taxis , whole roads dedicated to in your face prostitution with the antics that they get up to in full view , it’s more than pornographic .
And no, I’m not a holy Joe by any means, for me the line has been crossed.

Authorities, police and the government should be ashamed of themselves.

One of them actually knows how to throw kicks and punches.

Heck, people will pay to see this!

I see a new source of revenue if someone would build an indoor venue for, say five-on-five ladyboy fights!

At least everybody would be paid for getting their effeminate arses kicked.

Great idea.  The Phuket Cage Match
