Be aware that the immigration official that does the 90 day report for you will also do the COR.

She will do the TM47 first, photocopy the receipt and then do the COR.

You can make appointment for the 90 report on the link I posted.

After you choose a date the time slots open.

Go desk far right side where tickets issued. The io will call the desk and you will be seen straight away..

Appointments made up to month early.

Note: previously to obtain  a COR from CW you had to have made a TM47. That is no longer the case.

You can obtain one on tourist visa and even visa exempt

Great very useful will do that. I will be out of the country for ten days before my first 90 day (in person) report. I understand when I get back the clock restarts at 90 and I can ignore the initial 90 day report? Or if I get back before it, do I still go?

Just a guess. Since income letters will/are not available now from Canadian embassy then in line with UK, USA, AU etc doubt address verification will be provided.  Poor option in any event.

  • Yes, it's about driving licenses, no, an agent cannot sort it.

  • Sounds like you are creating your own nightmares to live here. Agents doing your extensions and giving you a bogus bank account with 800k for the application ? Your visa extension should be done at an

You only do a TM47 when you stay in Thailand for continuous 90 days.

When you exit and reenter the clock restarts.

I didn't do a TM47 for my first 7 years in Thailand due to frequent travel abroad.

In your case you will ignore the 90 report as the clock resets.

Eventually you will do one in person

You need a TM30 and should get one

Thanks.  Probably a dumb question but how do I get one, given I'm staying with my gf in BKK and the last one I got was from my serviced apartment in Samui earlier this year (which I've now given up)?  My gf is a tenant and we've never bothered with TM30s.  I wonder if she can make out a manual TM30 form as the occupier?  I'd hate to have to go to the landlord because she's very slow to respond and probably wouldn't be helpful.

If you leave before 90 days you forget it.  Clock starts at 1 the day you come back.
