It looks like the people have spoken. Loud speaker trucks are good and we shouldn't be complaining. I would never have guessed.

This is worse. Driving around shouting numbers at random people sitting at home is next level. Total retard tier.

We need to make it perfectly clear that this tarriff exercise is the responsibility of the 77 million intelligent voters who elected our president...

No blaming the libs for the empty shelves and inflation...:coffee1:

Or worse still, the educationally subnormal demographic that voted for the UK’s politically illiterate present Government.

Ah you mean the “politically illiterate “ government democratically elected with a 170+ seat majority?

You mean the government that’s been in for 5 minutes and hasn’t yet put right the damage done by 14 years of Tory grift and pandering to the billionaires to whom they were in hock?

It remains to be seen if the current UK govt can do a better job than the Tories who preceded them for 14 years. Only time will tell, but the signs are not encouraging.

Yes, that’s the one; the Labour party that 79.8% of the UK’s eligible electorate did not vote for, but won the election courtesy of the FPTP electoral system, and have proved to be a complete disaster since taking office.

EVERYONE is a hypocrite?

That is something of a sweeping statement.

He got 3 positive reactions to 13 negative for a pretty reasonable point. Thats the ratio of hypocrites here

what's the angle here? I assume once they get in they can skim off the top of road works and various other forms of corruption.

Absolutely, it starts at the level of poo yai ban, once they ascend to the level of the "or bor dor " or the "tetsaban" there must be huge amounts of cash available for the taking. The existing  head of the tetsaban here has already  reportedly payed 1000 bt per person with another 200 per head due this morning   Its all her and the family can talk about at the moment, jesus I paid a 2500bt electric bill and didn't even get a smile

I know right? Maybe people won't say anything but I never heard anything good from expats regarding those trucks. There's a frequent comment people seem to have "if I was going to vote it wouldn't be for that guy" as they're annoyed with the noise.

Classic.

I've learned something since starting this. Not only are loud speaker trucks  annoying but there is blatant vote buying and then if that wasn't bad enough they use the position they've bought to enrich themselves by stealing from the tax payers.

So it's a 3 step process: 1) Disturb people with loud sounds 2) bribe people 3) get rich at the peoples expense.

This isn't even Thai bashing. I promise you forward looking and intelligent Thai people all over the country think this is rotten to the core and they're complaining too. The badgering with noise is just the tip of the iceberg but it's much worse than that.

Farage is a protest vote, something that needed to happen. Reform have a  lot of work to do to prove themselves, and 4 years is not a long time. They are in a position of trial in 10 local councils. All of them will be required to show real improvements, for the party to be accepted as a credible alternative to both Labour and Conservative.
