Early 90 Day Report

Featured Replies

Usually there are many questions about filing late but this is different. I think this isn't a problem but I filed too early on-line. Had I not re-entered Thailand 27March 2025 my 90 day would have been due 3June. I file online. I received a notification from Imm that it was due and filed today not remembering my reentry.  Should I go ahead and cancel the report I did today or will they just reject it and if so will that cause a problem later on ? Thank you

Your end-June report has to be done in person.  Just go and do it, irrespective of whether the online report is approved or not.

You're saying that I need to file in person bc I left the country ?  I have filed online after reentry without any problem.

I just booked an appointment to do it in person so it will be quick and easy (fingers crossed). CW is not around the corner but it's no big deal.  Thanks.

Yes that's the rule. What arrival date did you put on the online report? The old one or 27 March?

The system that sends the e-mails has no idea that you left the country.  It's simply set to e-mail you 90 days after your previous online submission.

You have returned to Thailand on 27. of March, so your next 90 day Report is due on 24.June.

I did put March 27

Then if things go as they should your online report should be rejected for applying too early and/or because you need to report in person after being out of the country.  So, no issue.  Just report in person at the end of June, all will be fine.

As already posted....

Your starting date is March 27, 2024 so that means that 89 days later would be June 24, 2024.

Make your TM47 in person 2 weeks prior or up to one week late (avoid late)

Suggest you also take a TM30

I have scheduled an in person appointment. Will bring my TM30. Thanks a lot.

And when was that? When was the last time you re-entered the country and successfully did a 90-day report online?

This 'do the 90-day report in person after a re-entry' became a thing about a year ago, year-and-a-half ago. Perhaps a little longer? Maybe then you might have been OK, or slipped through the cracks. These days they want it in person. The issue really came to a head some time after the paper TM6 arrival forms were scrapped. Prior to their scrapping, no problem. I wonder if the new TDAC arrival system will allow for the immigration office to better track our 90 status, so we'll be able to get back to how it was in the past, i.e. no need to do an in-person report after a re-entry. But, I'm not holding my breath.

DEPENDING on ""LOCAL"" OFFICE POLICY, you might have to also file a NEW TM-30 since you left the country.

My "LOCAL" office requires - 1st hand knowledge as my TM-47 was refused until I filed a new TM-30 after my trip outside Thailand.

Check with your LOCAL IO for THEIR policy
